Notice is hereby given that the Council of the London Borough of Haringey on 5th May 2026 has made the above mentioned Orders under sections 6, 45, 46, 49 and 124 of and Part IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended and to implement a Zebra Crossing on Craven Park Road N15 under Section 23 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
The general effect of the Orders would be:
- To revoke approximately 24 metres of shared use Pay by Phone/Permit Holders Only parking on the north side of Craven Park Road N15 adjacent to the flank wall of No.60 Leadale Road (from the eastern end of bay closest to Leadale Road junction heading west).
- To revoke approximately 12 metres of shared use Pay by Phone/Permit Holders Only parking on the south side of Craven Park Road N15 outside Springfield Community Primary School (from the eastern end of bay closest to Leadale Road junction heading west).
- To revoke approximately 5 metres of no waiting at any time restrictions on the south side of Craven Park Road N15, from the western side of its southern junction with Leadale Road heading west.
- To revoke approximately 5.5 metres of no waiting at any time restrictions on the north side of Craven Park Road N15, from the western side of its northern junction with Leadale Road heading west.
The above parking changes are required to facilitate the installation of the proposed Zebra Crossing and associated zig-zag markings on Craven Park Road N15, on which vehicles would be prohibited from stopping at all times. These will be placed on the carriageway either side of the crossing no more than 17.5 metres in either direction. The centre of the crossing will be accompanied with a pedestrian refuge island and will be located approximately 14 metres west from the centre of the junction with Leadale Road.
Date of operation: The Orders will come into operation on 17th May 2026.
Further details: an appointment can be made, by emailing traffic.orders@haringey.gov.uk to inspect the Orders during normal office hours at the reception desk of Alexandra House, 10 Station Road, Wood Green, N22 7TR within six weeks of the date on which the Orders were made, or can be viewed online at https://streets.appyway.com/haringey once operational.
Application to the high court: Any person desiring to question the validity of the Orders or of any provision contained therein on the grounds that it does not comply with the relevant powers of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended or that any of the relevant requirements thereof or of any relevant regulations made there under have not been complied with in relation to the Orders may, within six weeks of the date on which the Orders were made, make application for the purpose to the High Court.
