What is happening?

LONDON BOROUGH OF BROMLEY

The Bromley (Waiting And Loading Restriction) Order 2003 (Amendment No. **) Order 202 - The Bromley (Controlled Parking) (On Street Places) Order 2004 - (Amendment No. **) Order 202 - (Various Locations) - T839

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the London Borough of Bromley proposes to make the above-mentioned Order under Sections 6, 45, 46, 49 and 124 and Part IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) and all other enabling powers.

The effect of the Order would be to:
(a) Introduce new ‘at any time’ waiting restrictions as set out in the Schedule 1 to this Notice.
(b) Convert existing Monday to Saturday waiting restrictions 8:00am and 6:30pm to ‘at any time’ waiting restrictions as set out in Schedule 2 to this Notice.
(c) Revoke a Single Yellow Line operating Monday to Saturday 8:30am and 6:30pm as set out in the Schedule 3 to this notice.
(d) Convert existing Monday to Friday waiting restrictions operating between 1:00pm and 2:00pm to No Waiting restrictions operational Monday to Friday between the hours of 9:00am and 2:00pm as set out in Schedule 4 to this Notice.
(e) Convert existing Waiting restrictions operational on Wednesdays only between the hours of 8:00am and 12:00 Noon to Waiting restrictions operational on Tuesdays and Thursdays between the hours of 8:00am and 10:00am as set out in the Schedule 5 to this Notice.
(f) Convert existing Monday to Friday waiting restrictions operating between 8:30am and 6:30pm to ‘at any time’ waiting restrictions as set out in the Schedule 6 to this Notice.
(g) Introduce a Residents Permit Parking space operating Monday to Saturday between the hours of 12:00pm and 2:00pm as set out in the Schedule 7 to this notice.
Details of prohibitions and exemptions for certain vehicles and persons are contained in the original Order.

Copies of the proposed Order, plans and of the Council’s statement of reasons for proposing to make the Order can be inspected during normal office hours Monday to Friday at: Bromley Council, Churchill Court, 2 Westmoreland Road, Bromley, BR1 1AS.

ANY person wishing to object to the proposed Order should send a statement in writing of their objection and the grounds thereof to: The Assistant Director of Traffic and Parking, Bromley Council, Churchill Court, 2 Westmoreland Road, Bromley, BR1 1AS, or by email to: TrafficManagementOrders@Bromley.gov.uk, quoting reference:- ADE(TP)/RP/T839 no later than 3rd June 2026.

Persons objecting to the proposed Order should be aware that under the provisions of the Local Government (Access to Information) Act 1985, any comments received in response to this Notice may be open to public inspection.

Waiting Restrictions:

Introduce new No Waiting restrictions - ‘at any time’

Eton Road, Orpington
(a) north side
(i) from the eastern kerbline of Winchester Road, east for 20m
(ii) from the western kerbline with Winchester Road, west for 20m Winchester Road, Orpington
(a) east side
(i) from the kerbline with Eton Road, north for 10m.
(b) west side
(i) from the kerbline with Eton Road, north for 10m

SCHEDULE 2 :-
Waiting Restrictions:

Convert existing waiting restrictions operating Monday to Saturday 8:00am and 6:30pm to ‘no waiting at any time’ -

Court Downs Road, Beckenham
(a) north side
(i) from a point 12 metres southeast of the northwestern flank wall of No. 16 to a point 15 metres east of the eastern kerbline of Arbor Close
(ii) from the eastern kerbline with Arbor Close east for 10m

SCHEDULE 3 :-
Waiting Restrictstions:

Remove waiting restrictions operational Monday to Saturday 8:30am and 6:30pm:

Stanley Road, Bromley
(a) east side
(i) from a point 3.7 metres north of the common boundary of numbers 26a and 27a, north for 4.5m.

SCHEDULE 4 :-
Waiting Restrictions

Convert existing waiting restrictions operational Monday to Friday 1:00pm and 2:00pm to Monday to Friday 9:00am and 2:00pm:

Hawes Lane, West Wickham
(a) north and east side
(i) from the common boundary of numbers 51 and 53, to the common boundary of the Railway Hotel and number 1.
(b) southwest side
(i) from a point 18.3m south of its junction with Red Lodge Road, to a point opposite the party wall of numbers 51 and 53.

SCHEDULE 5 :-
Waiting Restrictions:

Convert existing waiting restrictions operating Wednesday 8:00am and 12:00midday to Tuesday and Thursday between 8:00am and 10:00am:

Springfield Gardens, West Wickham
(a) north side
(i) from a point 5m east of the eastern kerbline of Grosvenor Road, to a point 3m west of the eastern boundary of number 9.

SCHEDULE 6 :-
Waiting Restrictions:

Convert existing Monday to Friday waiting restrictions operating between 8:30am and 6:30pm to ‘at any time’ waiting restrictions -

Addington Road, West Wickham
(a) both sides
(i) the service road fronting numbers 79 to 131.

SCHEDULE 7 :-
Resident Permit Holder Parking Bay (CPZ ZONE C)

Introduce new Resident Permit Holders Only operational Monday to Saturday between the hours of 12:00 midday and 2:00pm:

(a) east side
(i) from a point 3.7 metres north of the common boundary of numbers 26a and 27a, north for 4.5m.
