(KING’S THEATRE AREA) (NO. 2) (TEMPORARY ROAD
RESTRICTION AND TRAFFIC REGULATION) ORDER 2026 – TEMP/26/83
The Council has made an order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, the effect of which will be that for a temporary period, to facilitate public realm works, no person shall: (a) drive or cause or permit any vehicle to be driven on any part of Valleyfield st, from the extended east kerbline of Leven St, eastwards for 56m; and (b) except with the permission of a Parking Attendant, cause or permit any vehicle to wait or load onto or unload from any vehicle at any time on (i) Gilmore pl, both sides from the extended west kerbline of Leven St, westwards for 38m; (ii) Home st, west side, from the extended north kerbline of Gilmore Pl,northwards for 42m; east side, from the extended north kerbline of Tarvit St, northwards for 40m; (iii) Leven st; (iv) Gillespie pl, both sides from the extended north kerbline of Glengyle Ter, south-westwards for 59m; (v) Gillespie Cres, both sides from the extended south-west kerbline of Gillespie Pl, westwards for 22m; (vi) Glengyle Ter, both sides from the extended north-east kerbline of Gillespie Pl, eastwards for 19m; and (vii) Valleyfield st, both sides from 42m west of the extended west kerbline of Leven Ter, westwards for 15m; north side from the extended east kerbline of Leven St, eastwards for 56m; south side from the extended east kerbline of Leven St, eastwards for 60m. Existing parking restrictions, Greenways red line stopping/waiting restrictions & loading bays, shall be suspended on the affected sections of roads described in (b). The one way (west to east) restriction on Valleyfield St shall be suspended for the duration of this Order. The alternative route for through vehicular traffic in relation to the closure of Valleyfield st is Leven St, Home St, Brougham St, Brougham Pl, Leven Ter and Valleyfield St and for pedal cyclists is Leven St, Glengyle Ter, Leven Ter and Valleyfield St. The Order shall have effect from 18/05/26 to 31/05/26.
