Mae Cyngor Sir Ddinbych wedi gwneud Gorchymyn sy’n gwahardd cerbydau rhag defnyddio’r rhannau o ffyrdd y cyfeirir atynt yn yr Atodlen isod.
Y rheswm am y cyfyngiad yw hwyluso gosod pibellau telegraffrhau dan ddaear gan RNR Traffic Management ar ran Openreach.
Bydd y ffordd ar agor i gerddwyr drwy gydol y cyfnod cau.
Bydd y Gorchymyn mewn grym o 15 Mai 2026 am gyfnod o ddeunaw mis neu hyd nes y bydd y gwaith wedi’i gwblhau, pa un bynnag sydd gyntaf. Disgwylir i’r gwaith bara tan tua 22 Mai 2026.

NOTICE OF TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC ORDER
ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 - SECTION 14(1)
Denbighshire County Council has made an Order prohibiting vehicles using the lengths of road referred to in the Schedule below.
The reason for the restriction is to facilitate installation of underground telecommunications ducting by RNR Traffic Management on behalf of Openreach.
Pedestrian access will be maintained throughout the period of closure.
The Order is effective from 15th May 2026 for an eighteen-month period or the earlier completion of the works whichever is soonest. The works are expected to last approximately until 22nd May 2026.
Schedule
Lengths of Road at Llangollen in the County of Denbigh
Temporary Road closures:
Hill Street; extending southwards from its junction with Berwyn Street to its junction with Hall Street.
Chapel Street; extending northward from its junction with Berwyn Street for a distance of approximately 10 metres.
Diversion routes:
- Diversion route for Hill Street: via Hall Street and Berwyn Street.
- Diversion route for Chapel Street: via Oak Street, Castle Street and Berwyn Street.
