Notice is hereby given that North Somerset District Council in pursance of the provisions of section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, intend to make an order the effect of which:
B3130 Bristol Road, Wraxall, North Somerset
Temporary Prohibition of Use by Vehicles and Cyclists
Date coming into force: 18 June 2026
Ref: T26-07
Will be to close, temporarily, to vehicles and cyclists the lengths of roads specified in the Schedule to this Notice.
This order is required to facilitate carriageway resurfacing and kerb line installation works and will become operative on 18 June 2026, anticipated to be of 7 days. Work will take place between 9.30am and 3.30pm. The maximum period for the closure is eighteen months, however, the closure may not be implemented for the whole of the period but only as necessitated by the works.
Schedule - Bristol Road from the junction of B3129 Belmont Hill to the junction of The Grove.

Notice is hereby given that North Somerset Council in pursuance of the provisions of section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, intend to make an order the effect of which:
Church Road South, Portishead, North Somerset
Temporary Prohibition of Use by Vehicles Order 2026
Date Coming Into Force: 31 August 2026

Will be to close, temporarily, to vehicles the lengths of roads specified in the Schedule to this Notice. Exemptions are included for emergency services, works access, works vehicles and as works permit for premises which may only be accessed via the closed section of road.
This order is required because of the likelihood of danger to the public consequent upon work by Wales & West Utilities to replace gas mains and renew/transfer service pipes to adjacent premises. This order will become operative on the 31 August 2026 for a maximum period of eighteen months. However, the closures may not be implemented for the whole of the period but only as necessitated by the works which is anticipated to be of 57 days in duration. Appropriate traffic signs will be displayed when the measures are in force.

Temporary Prohibition of Use by Vehicles and Cyclists
Date coming into force: 8 June 2026

Will be to close, temporarily, to vehicles and cyclists the lengths of roads specified in the Schedule to this Notice.
This order was required because of carriageway surfacing works and will become operative on 8 June 2026, anticipated to be of 10 working nights between 8pm and 5am. The maximum period for the closures is eighteen months, however, the closures may not be implemented for the whole of the period but only as necessitated by the works.

Temporary Prohibition of Use by Vehicles and Cyclists Order 2026
Date coming into force: 19 May 2025

Will be to close, temporarily, to vehicles and cyclists the lengths of roads specified in the Schedule to this Notice.
This order was required because of carriageway resurfacing and will become operative on 19 May 2026 for a maximum period of eighteen months. However, the closures may not be implemented for the whole of the period but only as necessitated by the works. It is anticipated the closures on each road will be at night-time only from 20.00 to 06.00 hrs and will take place on A38 Bridgwater Road, Long Ashton and A4174 Colliters Way, Dundry for a period of approximately two weeks.
Schedule - A38 Bridgwater Road Long Ashton from Lime Kiln roundabout to its junction with Yanley Lane. A4174 Colliters Way, Dundry from its junction with Lime Kiln roundabout for approximately 70m southeast.

This order will become operative on the 27 May 2026 for a maximum period of eighteen months. However, the closures may not be implemented for the whole of the period but only as necessitated by the works which is anticipated to be of 6 hours in duration between 9.30am and 3.30pm.
