(Temporary Closing Of Hampden, Kimpton) Order 2026
NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using that length of Hampden, Kimpton from its junction with Dacre Crescent south eastwards and south westwards for a distance of approximately 45m ("the Road"), except for access.
An alternative route will be via: Dacre Crescent, Park Lane, B652 High Street, Claggy Road and Hampden.
The Order is needed because sewer connection works are proposed to be executed on or near the Road.
The Order will come into effect from 1 June 2026 and will be valid for a period of 18 months. The works are scheduled to take 5 days to complete and will only take effect on the days and times indicated by signs on or near the Road.

(Temporary Closing Of Kimpton Road (East), Kimpton) Order 2026
NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using that length of Kimpton Road (East), Kimpton from its junction with B651 Ballslough Hill north eastwards for a distance of approximately 263m ("the Road"), except for access.
An alternative route will be via: B651 Ballslough Hill, Kimpton Road, B651 Lamer Lane, B653 Codicote Road, Codicote Road, St Albans Road, B656 High Street, Heath Lane, Kimpton Road and Kimpton Road (East).
The Order is needed because utility service works are proposed to be executed on or near the Road.
The Order will come into effect from 1 June 2026 and will be valid for a period of 18 months. The works are scheduled to take 1 day to complete and will only take effect on the days and times indicated by signs on or near the Road.

NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using that length of Hitherbaulk, Welwyn Garden City from its junction with A1000 Chequers south eastwards for its entire length ("the Road"), except for access.
There is no alternative route available, but access will be maintained wherever possible throughout the duration of the works.
ADDITIONALLY all vehicles are prohibited from waiting at any time on both sides of this length of Road, whilst works are in progress.
The Order is needed because works are proposed to be executed on or near the Road.
The Order will come into effect from 1 June 2026 and will be valid for a period of 18 months. The works are scheduled to take 5 days to complete and will only take effect on the days and times indicated by signs on or near the Road.

NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using that length of New Road, Digswell from a point 119m south west of its junction with Mornington north eastwards for a distance of approximately 167m ("the Road").
An alternative route will be via: New Road, Harmer Green Lane, Hertford Road, B1000 Hertford Road, Churchfield Road, School Lane, Lower Green, Upper Green Road, Upper Green, Orchard Road, Harmer Green Lane and New Road.
The Order is needed because water connection works are proposed to be executed on or near the Road.
The Order will come into effect from 2 June 2026 and will be valid for a period of 18 months. The works are scheduled to take 6 days to complete and will only take effect on the days and times indicated by signs on or near the Road.

(Temporary Closing Of Bullens Green Lane, Hatfield) Order 2026
NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using that length of Bullens Green Lane, Hatfield from its junction with Tollgate Road north eastwards and north westwards to its junction with Fellowes Lane, a distance of approximately 265m ("the Road"), except for access.
An alternative route will be via: Tollgate Road and Fellowes Lane.
The Order is needed because utility service works are proposed to be executed on or near the Road.
The Order will come into effect from 18 May 2026 and will be valid for a period of 18 months. The works are scheduled to take 1 day to complete and will only take effect on the days and times indicated by signs on or near the Road.

NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using that length of Watchlytes, Welwyn Garden City from its junction with Moors Walk south westwards for its entire length ("the Road"), except for access.
There is no alternative route available, but access will be maintained wherever possible throughout the duration of the works.
ADDITIONALLY all vehicles are prohibited from waiting at any time on both sides of this length of Road, whilst works are in progress.
The Order is needed because works are proposed to be executed on or near the Road.
The Order will come into effect from 18 May 2026 and will be valid for a period of 18 months. The works are scheduled to take 5 days to complete and will only take effect on the days and times indicated by signs on or near the Road.
