(40 MPH SPEED LIMIT) ORDER 2026

Staffordshire County Council on 12/5/26 made an Order under the Rd Traffic Regulation Act 1984 that imposed a 40 MPH speed limit on A519 Newcastle Rd, Beech. 

Documents may be examined during office hours at Staffordshire Place 1, Tipping St, Stafford, ST16 2DH and during opening hours at Stone Library or via: https://consultation.appyway.com/stafford.  

Persons questioning the validity or provisions of the Order on the grounds that such powers are not conferred by the Act, or that any requirement or instrument made under the Act has not been complied with, may within 6 weeks from the date the Order was made apply to the High Court. The Order will commence on 18/5/26.

Staffordshire County Council on 12/5/26 made a Traffic Regulation Order under the Rd Traffic Regulation Act 1984 to: Introduce No Waiting at Any Time on Monmouth Drive and Martin Drive, Stafford

Introduce No Stopping on School Keep Clear Rd Markings between the hours of 8am and 5pm on Monday to Friday inclusive on Martin Drive, Stafford

Introduce No Waiting between the hours of 08:00 and 09:30 and between 14:30 and 16:00 on Monday to Friday inclusive on Martin Drive, Stafford 

Documents may be examined during office hours at 1 Staffordshire Place, Tipping St, Stafford, ST16 2DH, and during opening hours at Stafford Library, Staffordshire Place, Tipping St, Stafford, ST16 2DH or at: www.staffordshire.gov.uk/trafficregulationorders.

Staffordshire County Council on 12/5/26 made an Order under the Rd Traffic Regulation Act 1984 that imposed a 40 mph speed limit on Meadow Ln, Little Haywood. Documents may be examined during office hours at Staffordshire Place 1, Tipping St, Stafford, ST16 2DH and during opening hours at Baswich Library Lynton Avenue, Baswich, ST17 0EA or via https://consultation.appyway.com/stafford.  

Persons questioning the validity or provisions of the Order on the grounds that such powers are not conferred by the Act, or that any requirement or instrument made under the Act has not been complied with, may within 6 weeks from the date the Order was made apply to the High Court. The Order will commence on 18 May 2026.

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 – TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC

Notice is hereby given that Staffordshire County Council on 12/5/26 made an Order the effect of which is to temporarily prohibit vehicles from proceeding along:

The Order will come into operation on 19/5/26 and the said works will commence on or as near as practicable to that date.  It is anticipated the works will be completed on the same day.  The Order will remain in force for a period of 18 months or until the BT poling works, which it is proposed to carry out on or near the Rd have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

Yarnfield Ln, Yarnfield. For more information regarding access arrangements, timings and diversion routes please visit https://one.network/?tm=GB149225149.   The Order will come into operation on 20/5/26 and the said works will commence on or as near as practicable to that date. It is anticipated the works will be completed on the same day. The Order will remain in force for a period of 18 months or until the BT pole replacement works, which it is proposed to carry out on or near the Rd have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

A520 Crown St, Stone. For more information regarding access arrangements, timings and diversion routes please visit https://one.network/?tm=GB149129004. The Order will come into operation on 20/5/26 and the said works will commence on or as near as practicable to that date. It is anticipated the works will be completed by 21/5/26. The Order will remain in force for a period of 18 months or until the defective manhole frame and cover replacement works, which it is proposed to carry out on or near the Rd have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

Cowley Ln, Gnosall. For more information regarding access arrangements, timings and diversion routes please visit https://one.network/?tm=GB149090684. The Order will come into operation on 18/5/26 and the said works will commence on or as near as practicable to that date. It is anticipated the works will be completed by 5/7/26. The Order will remain in force for a period of 18 months or until the water main renewal works, which it is proposed to carry out on or near the Rd have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

Long Compton Ln, Long Compton. For more information regarding access arrangements, timings and diversion routes please visit https://one.network/?tm=GB148719620. The Order will come into operation on 19/5/26 and the said works will commence on or as near as practicable to that date. It is anticipated the works will be completed by 22/5/26. The Order will remain in force for a period of 18 months or until the Utility works, which it is proposed to carry out on or near the Rd have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

Uttoxeter Rd, Stone. For more information regarding access arrangements, timings and diversion routes please visit https://one.network/?tm=GB149204353. The Order will come into operation on 19/5/26 and the said works will commence on or as near as practicable to that date. It is anticipated the works will be completed by 20/5/26. The Order will remain in force for a period of 18 months or until the level crossing repair works, which it is proposed to carry out on or near the Rd have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

Aspley Ln, Chatcull. For more information regarding access arrangements, timings and diversion routes please visit https://one.network/?tm=GB149216858. The Order will come into operation on 19/5/26 and the said works will commence on or as near as practicable to that date. It is anticipated the works will be completed the same day. The Order will remain in force for a period of 18 months or until the pole works, which it is proposed to carry out on or near the Rd have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

The Order will come into operation on 21/5/26 and the said works will commence on or as near as practicable to that date. It is anticipated the works will be completed the same day. The Order will remain in force for a period of 18 months or until the pole replacement works, which it is proposed to carry out on or near the Rd have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

Notice is hereby given that Staffordshire County Council intend not less than seven days from the date of this notice to make an Order the effect of which is to temporarily prohibit vehicles from proceeding along:

The Order will come into operation on 29/5/26 and the said works will commence on or as near as practicable to that date. It is anticipated the works will be completed by 20/6/26. The Order will remain in force for a period of 18 months or until the gas main replacement works, which it is proposed to carry out on or near the Rd have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

The Order will come into operation on 3/6/26 and the said works will commence on or as near as practicable to that date. It is anticipated the works will be completed on the same day. The Order will remain in force for a period of 18 months or until the BT pole replacement works, which it is proposed to carry out on or near the Rd have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

The Order will come into operation on 1/6/26 and the said works will commence on or as near as practicable to that date. It is anticipated the works will be completed by 5/6/26. The Order will remain in force for a period of 18 months or until the BT poly duct installation works, which it is proposed to carry out on or near the Rd have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

The Order will come into operation on 29/5/26 and the said works will commence on or as near as practicable to that date. It is anticipated the works will be completed by 29/5/26. The Order will remain in force for a period of 18 months or until the BT Pole replacement works, which it is proposed to carry out on or near the Rd have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
