What is happening?

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 – SECTION (14.1)

The council of the London Borough of Enfield have made

the Temporary Traffic Orders described below.

DENNY ROAD, LOWDEN ROAD, HENDERSON ROAD N9

Reason for 14(1) Order – Essential Utility Works

Operational Date and times

“Between 9:30–15:30” on 13 May 2026, for 2 nights or until works are completed.

The general effect of the Order will be to;

Denny Road

• Close this road at its junction with Hertford Road; and

Lowden Road

• Suspend parking from its junction with Hertford Road for approximately 20m, on both sides of the road;

Henderson Road

• Suspend parking from its junction with Hertford Road for approximately 10m, on both sides of the road.

ECCLESBOURNE GARDENS N13

Reason for 14(1) Order – Essential Utility Works

Operational Date and times:

“At any time” on 14 May 2026 for 2 months or until works are completed.

The general effect of the Order will be to close this road and suspend parking between its junctions with Green Lanes and Oakthorpe Road, on both sides of the road.

FIRSCROFT N13

Reason for 14(1) Order – Essential Utility Works

Operational Date and times:

“At any time” on 12 May 2026 for 3 days or until works are completed.

The general effect of the Order will be to close this road from its junction with The Larches to No.307.

SLADES HILL, OLD PARK VIEW EN2

Reason for 14(1) Order – Essential Utility Works

Operational Date and times:

“At any time” on 16 May 2026 for 16 days or until works are completed.

The general effect of the Order will be to;

Slades Hill

• suspend parking, south side, from outside the entrance of Bethany Place, westwards to No.17, on both sides of the road; and

• suspend parking, from outside No.28, eastwards to its junction with Old Park View; and

Old Park View

• suspend parking from its junction with Slades Hill, southwards for approximately 25m on both sides of the road.

GREEN DRAGON LANE N21

Reason for 14(1) Order – Essential Utility Works

Operational Date and times:

“At any time” on 18 May 2026 for 3 days or until works are completed.

The general effect of the Order will be to suspend parking, between No’s 3/5-9/11 on both sides of the road.

HERTFORD ROAD EN3

Reason for 14(1) Order – Essential Utility Works

Operational Date and times:

“At any time” on 18 May 2026 for 1 day or until works are completed.

The general effect of the Order will be close the northbound cycle lane on Hertford Road EN3, at its junction with Turkey Street, southwards for approximately 20m.

Whilst the restrictions are in place, cyclists will be required to dismount and walk for the length of the cycle lane closure or join the main carriageway to continue cycling.

BILTON WAY EN3

Reason for 14(1) Order – Essential Utility Works

Operational Date and times:

“At any time” on 18 May 2026 for 3 months or until works are completed.

The general effect of the Order will be to suspend parking, on a phased basis, between its junctions with Mollison Avenue and Bideford Road, on both sides of the road.

WATERFALL ROAD N14

Reason for 14(1) Order – Essential Utility Works

Operational Date and times:

“At any time” on 18 May 2026 for 5 days or until works are completed.

The general effect of the Order will be to suspend parking, between No’s 111/113-131 on both sides of the road.

WOLSEY ROAD EN1

Reason for 14(1) Order – Essential Crane Works

Operational Date and times:

“At any time” on either the 19 May 2026 or 29 May 2026 for 1 day or until works are completed.

The general effect of the Order will be to close this road, between No’s 1-31, approximately 50m on both sides of the road.

The provisions of the Orders shall apply only at such times and as directed by Traffic signs. Whilst roads are closed local diversions will be in place and access will be maintained only as far as the works allow for more information contact 0208 379 2039 or email NRSWA@enfield.gov.uk
