HYSBYSIR trwy hyn fod Cyngor Bwrdeistref Sirol Torfaen, drwy arfer ei bwerau o dan Ddeddf Rheoleiddio Traffig Ffyrdd 1984 (fel y'i diwygiwyd), yn bwriadu gwneud Gorchymyn, nid llai na saith niwrnod ar ôl dyddiad yr Hysbysiad hwn, a fydd yn gwahardd unrhyw draffig rhag teithio ar hyd rhan o Coed Road, Blaenafon.

Mae’r llwybr amgen ar hyd Gladstone Terrace, Llanover Road, Charles Street ac i’r gwrthwyneb. (Bydd mynediad i drigolion a’r gwasanaethau brys cyn belled ag y bo modd yn rhesymol).

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 SECTION 14 (1)(A)

(AS AMENDED)

COED ROAD, BLAENAVON

TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC ORDER 2026

NOTICE is hereby given that the County Borough Council of Torfaen in exercise of their powers under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) intend not less than seven days from the date of this Notice to make an Order the effect of which will be to prohibit any traffic from proceeding along a section of Coed Road, Blaenavon.

The alternative route is along Gladstone Terrace, Llanover Road, Charles Street and vice versa. (Access for residents and emergency services will be maintained as far as is reasonably practicable).

The prohibition is necessary because works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the road to renew a wooden pole.

The proposed Order will operate from Thursday 28th May 2026 for one day and any other days deemed necessary within a period not exceeding 18 months.
