What is happening?

THE METROPOLITAN BOROUGH COUNCIL OF STOCKPORT (ANDREW LANE, KESWICK ROAD, AND WINDLEHURST ROAD, MARPLE) (PROHIBITION OF WAITING) NOTICE 2026

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Metropolitan Borough Council of Stockport proposes to make an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the Road Traffic Act 1991 and the Traffic Management Act 2004 the effect of which will be to introduce No Waiting at Any Time: Andrew Lane, Marple (North East Side) from the intersection of the south eastern kerb line of Windlehurst Road for a distance of 20m in a south easterly direction, and (South West Side) from the intersection of the south eastern kerb line of Windlehurst Road for a distance of 15m in a easterly then south easterly direction. Keswick Road, Marple (North Side) from the intersection of the eastern kerb line of Windlehurst Road for a distance of 12.5m in an easterly direction, and (South Side) from the intersection of the eastern kerb line of Windlehurst Road for a distance of 13.5m in an easterly direction. Windlehurst Road, Marple (East Side) from a point 12m north of the intersection of the northern kerbline of Keswick Road to a point 12m south of the intersection of the southern kerbline of Keswick Road. Full details of these proposals are set out in the draft Order which, together with the map, may be obtained from Stockport Legal Services, Town Hall Stockport SK1 3XE.
