What is happening?

GLOUCESTERSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL

TEMPORARY CLOSURE C268 BUTTEROW HILL

(RODBOROUGH PARISH) STROUD DISTRICT

Gloucestershire County Council, as traffic authority, has made an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to temporarily close part of the C268 Butterow Hill from its junction with Rodborough Hill to outside of the property known as ‘Steepways’ for a distance of approximately 320 metres.

The reason for the said closure is for works on behalf of the National Grid

The said road is expected to be closed from 18th May 2026 until 19th May 2026 only.

However, if the said works are not completed by this date the Order may remain in force for up to eighteen months or until the said works have been completed, whichever is sooner.

TEMPORARY CLOSURE 401272 COWSWELL LANE

(CHALFORD PARISH) STROUD DISTRICT

Gloucestershire County Council, as traffic authority, intends to make an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to temporarily close part of the 401272 Cowswell Lane from outside the property known as ‘Time Cottage’ to its junction with The Avenue for a distance of approximately 200 metres.

The reason for the said closure is for fibre cabling works.

TEMPORARY CLOSURE 407608 SPIDER LANE (STROUD TOWN) STROUD DISTRICT

Gloucestershire County Council, as traffic authority, has made an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to temporarily close part of the 407608 from its junction with Highfield Road to its junction with Churchfield Road for a distance of approximately 50 metres.

The reason for the said closure is for works on behalf of City Utilities

The said road is expected to be closed from 29th April 2026 to 30th April 2026 only.

However, if the said works are not completed by this date the Order may remain in force for up to eighteen months or until the said works have been completed, whichever is sooner.

TEMPORARY CLOSURE C201 DANEWAY TO TUNLEY SAPPERTON

(BISLEY WITH LYPIATT AND SAPPERTON PARISHES) STROUD DISTRICT

Gloucestershire County Council, as traffic authority, has made an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to temporarily close part of the C201 Daneway to Tunley Sapperton from outside of the property known as ‘Corner House’ to its junction with Bisley with Lypiatt Footpath 190 for a distance of approximately 250 metres.

The reason for the said closure is for the installation of a new water connection.

The said road is expected to be closed on from 19th May 2026 until 21st May 2026 only.

However, if the said works are not completed by this date the Order may remain in force for up to eighteen months or until the said works have been completed, whichever is sooner.
