Somerset Council in exercise of its powers under Section 14 (1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended, have made an Order prohibiting all traffic from proceeding along: Shelway Lane - from 96 metres south of the junction with Main Street, southwards for a total distance of 100 metres. This Order will enable Wessex Water to replace a meter.
The Order becomes effective on 13th May 2026 and will remain in force for 18 months. The works are expected to commence on 18th May 2026 and last until 20th May 2026 between the hours of 00:00 - 23:59 for a total of 3 days.
