Temporary Closure of Hinton Close

Somerset Council in exercise of its powers under Section 14 (1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended, have made an Order prohibiting all traffic from proceeding along: Hinton Close - from the junction with Green Street, westwards for a total distance of 15 metres. This Order will enable Openreach to carry out excavation and ducting works.

The Order becomes effective on 13th May 2026 and will remain in force for 18 months. The works are expected to commence on 18th May 2026 and last until 20th May 2026 between the hours of 08:00 - 18:00 for a total of 3 days. There is no alternative route for this closure. The works promoter will contact residents and businesses directly to discuss access arrangements.
