Somerset Council in exercise of its powers under Section 14 (1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended, propose to make an Order prohibiting all traffic from proceeding along: Rackstile - from 66 metres south of the junction with Wadeford Road, southwards for a total distance of 68 metres. This Order will enable Wessex Water to carry out remedial defect works.
The Order becomes effective on 27th May 2026 and will remain in force for 18 months. The works are expected to commence on 2nd June 2026 and last until 2nd June 2026 between the hours of 09:00 - 16:00 for a total of 7 hours.
