ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 -SECTION 14
THE COUNTY OF DEVON (TEMPORARY RESTRICTION) (BROAD PATH, STOKE HILL, PAIGNTON ROAD, BYTER MILL LANE, STOKE GABRIEL) ORDER 2026 TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC

NOTICE is hereby given that Devon County Council intends to make the above titled order. From 25/5/26 for a maximum of 18 months. Anticipated Finish 31/7/26. No person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed on the sections of Affected Roads.

Roads affected: Broad Path, Stoke Hill, Paignton Road, Byter Mill Lane, Stoke Gabriel, Broad Path - J/0 Stoke Hill To J/0 Lower Broad Path / Stoke Hill - J/O Byter Mill Lane To J/O Paignton Road / Paignton Road - J/S Stoke Hill To 0/S Stoke House / Byter Mill Lane - J/O Mill Pool To Outside Water House

The alternative, signed, route for vehicles will be via - Phase 1+2 Stoke Hill, Paignton Road, Four Cross Lanes To Waddaton Pool Cottages, Vice Versa Phase 3 School Hill, Paignton Road, Four Cross Lanes To Waddaton Pool Cottages - Broad Path, Vice Versa Phase 4 Paignton Road, Four Cross Lanes To Waddaton Pool Cottages, Broad Path, Lower Broad Path, Vice Versa Phase 5 Dead End Road - NO ALTERNATIVE ROUTE.

This temporary restriction is considered necessary to enable: RENEW & REPLACEMENT OF GAS WORKS.
