Park Royal Road - Temporary Road Closure & Parking Restriction Order

EALING COUNCIL
(TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE & PARKING RESTRICTION)
(PARK ROYAL ROAD, PARK ROYAL) ORDER 2026

1. NOTICE IS HERBY GIVEN that Ealing Council, under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, made a temporary Order, the effect of which will be to: -
(a) suspend all existing parking places;
(b) prohibit the waiting and loading of vehicles;
(c) prohibit vehicles from entering or proceeding, on Park Royal Road, at such times and extent when prescribed traffic signs are being displayed.

2. The Order will come into effect at 0001 hours on Tuesday, 19 May 2026, and is required to facilitate resurfacing and civil works to be undertaken safely on Park Royal Road.

3. The maximum duration of the Order will be 18 months or until the said works are completed, whichever is earlier. It is anticipated that the works will be completed by November 2026.

4. Diversions for vehicles shall be via Gorst Road, Chase Road, Standard Road only.

5. Exemptions will be provided for: -
(a) anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police constable in uniform or civil enforcement officer in uniform;

(b) emergency service vehicles, local authority vehicles and statutory undertaker vehicles at the time of an emergency for that vehicle to have access to part of a street under restriction imposed by the Order;

(c) any vehicle being used in connection with the execution of the said works;

(d) local vehicular access.

6. Any vehicle waiting in contravention of any restriction imposed by the Order may be removed under the provisions of the Removal and Disposal of Vehicles Regulations 1986.
