Prey Heath Road (D3685) Mayford

Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order 2026
On 13 May 2026 Surrey County Council made the above mentioned Temporary Traffic Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be to prohibit vehicles from entering or proceeding in the entire length of Prey Heath Road (D3685) Mayford.
Alternative Route: Burdenshott Road, and (A320) Woking Road, and (A320) Guildford Road, or this route in reverse.
This Order is required to facilitate mains water repair works for, or on behalf of Affinity Water. These works are anticipated to be carried out over 3 days, between the hours of 8am and 4pm, during the 12-month period of operation of this Temporary Order that commences on 26 May 2026. Advanced warning signs will be displayed, and the temporary closure will only operate when the relevant traffic signs are displayed. Access for residents, pedestrians and dismounted cyclists will be maintained at all times, via the banksmen on site. All other vehicular traffic, including emergency service vehicles will be required to follow the signed diversion route.

Woodham Road (D3657) Horsell

Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order 2026
On 13 May 2026 Surrey County Council made the above-mentioned Temporary Order under Section 14(1) and of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be to prohibit vehicles from entering or proceeding in that length of Woodham Road (D3657) Horsell as extends from its junction at its roundabout with (A245) Six Crossroads Roundabout to its junction with (X6024) Carlton Road.
Alternative Route: (A245) Six Cross-Roads Roundabout, (A320) Chertsey Road, (A320) Victoria Way, (A3046) Chobham Road, (A3046) Kettlewell Hill, and Woodham Road, or this route in reverse. This Order is required to facilitate drainage works, and/or any other associated highway maintenance works, to be carried out by or on behalf of Surrey County Council within the length of road described in this notice. These works are anticipated to be carried out over 7 weeks, between the hours of 8am and 5pm, Monday to Friday only, within the 18-month period of operation of the Temporary Order that commences on 25 May 2026. Advanced warning signs will be displayed and the temporary closure, which is anticipated to be in operation 24 hours per day, will only operate when the relevant traffic signs are displayed. Any vehicle found to be obstructing the highway during these works will be removed to outside the limits of the works after all reasonable methods have been undertaken to identify and contact the vehicle’s owner. Access for pedestrians and dismounted cyclists will be maintained at all times, as will access for emergency service vehicles in an emergency situation only. Vehicular access for residents and businesses will be maintained only when safe to do so, if necessary, via the diversion route. No sole access is affected by this closure.

Monument Road (C144) Woking
Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order 2026
On 8 May 2026, Surrey County Council made the above-mentioned Temporary Traffic Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be to prohibit vehicles from entering or proceeding in that length of Monument Road (C144) Woking as extends from its junction with Arnold Road (D3667) to its junction with Walton Road (C143).
Alternative route – A245 (Woodham Lane and Sheerwater Road), B382 (Old Woking Road) and Maybury Hill, or this route in reverse . This Order is required to enabl e Affinity Water to facilitate water main repairs and associated works. These works are anticipated to be carried out during the 12-month period of operation of this Temporary Order that commences on 26 May 2026 for 4 days between the hours of 8.00am and 4.00pm. Advanced warning signs will be displayed and the temporary closure, which is anticipated to be in operation for 24-hours per day, will only operate when the relevant traffic signs are displayed. Access for emergency services and residents either side of but not through the works site will be maintained. Access for pedestrians, dismounted cyclists and dismounted equestrians will be maintained at all times.

Barrs Lane (D3624) Knaphill
Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order 2026
Surrey County Council propose to make the above mentioned Temporary Traffic Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 the effect of which will be to prohibit vehicles from entering or proceeding in that length of Barrs Lane (D3624) Knaphill as extends from its junction with the access to the property known as “Dovers Cottage” to its junction with the access to the property known as “Wood Leigh”. Order is required to facilitate mains water repair works for, or on behalf of Affinity Water. These works are anticipated to be carried out over 3 days, between the hours of 8am and 4pm within the 12-month period of operation of this Order which will commence on 08 June 2026. Advanced warning signs will be displayed and the temporary closure, which is anticipated to be in operation 24 hours per day, will only operate when the relevant traffic signs are displayed. Access for pedestrians and dismounted cyclists will be maintained at all times. It will not be possible to maintain access through the closure for emergency services, residents. The Council are satisfied that, in accordance with Section 3(2)(a) and 3(2)(b) of the Act, vehicular access to and from premises within the length of road above, or accessible only therefrom, may be restricted in order to avoid danger to persons or other traffic using the road and/or for preventing the likelihood of any such danger arising. There is no alternative route for this closure.
