What is happening?

(CIVIL ENFORCEMENT AND CONSOLIDATION) ORDER 2022 
(VARIATION NO.1) ORDER 2026

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that on 1st May 2026 North Kesteven District Council made the above order (hereafter called "the Variation Order") under sections 32, 35 and Part IV of Schedule 9 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended and all other enabling powers to vary the North Kesteven District Council (Off-Street Parking Places)(Civil Enforcement and Consolidation) Order 2022 (hereafter called the "Original Order"), to the extent shown below. In all other aspects the Original Order will remain unchanged.

Commencement
It is intended to bring the Variation Order into operation on or after 1st May 2026.

Variation
The effect of the Variation Order, is to:
• Introduce revised tariffs for all chargeable parking periods in some Council run off street car parks; and

• Replace the current free parking concession for Disabled Badge Holders with a revised charging arrangement (details to be specified in the draft Order and charging schedule).

A copy of the Variation Order may be examined at the North Kesteven District Council Offices, Kesteven Street, Sleaford, Lincolnshire NG34 7EF during normal office hours.

Any person wishing to question the validity of the Order, or of any provision contained in it, on the grounds that it is not within the powers conferred by the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, or on the grounds that any requirement of the Act or any Instrument made under it has not been complied with in relation to the Order, may within 6 weeks from the date of this Notice apply to the High Court for this purpose
