ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984: SECTION 14

TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF PART OF THE U4040 SHERRINGTON ROAD, IPSWICH

Suffolk County Council has made an order closing the U4040 Sherrington Road, Ipswich from Norwich Road for 30 metres north eastbound to facilitate fire hydrant repairs. Other co-ordinated works may also take place during this period.

Access will be open for pedestrians and cyclists.

The diversion route will be Park View Road, Dales View Road, Lower Dales View Road, Norwich Road and vice versa.

It is intended that the closure will operate from 13/05/2026 - 15/05/2026 but, if necessary, the order may remain in force for 18 months (or longer if extended by the Minister).

TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF PART OF THE U4028 BROUGHTON ROAD, IPSWICH

Suffolk County Council has made an order closing the U4028 Broughton Road, Ipswich from St Edmunds Road to Ivry Street to facilitate a crane required for tree felling works. Other co-ordinated works may also take place during this period.

Access will be open for pedestrians and cyclists.

There is no diversion route.

It is intended that the closure will operate on 13/05/2026 but, if necessary, the order may remain in force for 18 months (or longer if extended by the Minister).

TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF PART OF THE U6321 FORTRESS WAY, BURY ST EDMUNDS

Suffolk County Council has made an order closing the U6321 Fortress Way, Bury St Edmunds northbound carriageway from the Skechers Factory to the junction with Rougham Tower Avenue to facilitate works to a new development entrance. Other co-ordinated works may also take place during this period.

Access will be open for pedestrians and cyclists.

The diversion route will be Fortress Way, Lady Miriam Way, Rougham Tower Avenue and vice versa.

It is intended that the closure will operate from 13/05/2026 - 22/05/2026 but, if necessary, the order may remain in force for 18 months (or longer if extended by the Minister).

Suffolk County Council has made an order closing the C328 Playford Road, Rushmere St Andrew from 150 metres west of the junction with The Street for 30 metres westbound to facilitate a new water connection. Other co-ordinated works may also take place during this period.

Access will be open for pedestrians and cyclists.

The diversion route will be The Street, Rushmere St Andrew, Colchester Road, Woodbridge Road East and vice versa.

It is intended that the closure will operate from 13/05/2026 - 16/05/2026 but, if necessary, the order may remain in force for 18 months (or longer if extended by the Minister).

Suffolk County Council has made an order closing the U7058 Ladys Green, Ousden from 300 metres east of Bury Road for 200 metres eastbound to facilitate carriageway repairs. Other co-ordinated works may also take place during this period.

Access will be open for pedestrians and cyclists.

The diversion route will be Bury Road, Church Lane, Barrow Hill, Denham Lane, Barrow Road, Road from the C659 to the B1085, Dunstall Green, Dunstall Green Road and vice versa.

It is intended that the closure will operate from 13/05/2026 - 15/05/2026 but, if necessary, the order may remain in force for 18 months (or longer if extended by the Minister).

TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF PART OF THE C362 BONDS CORNER AND CLOPTON ROAD, GRUNDISBURGH AND SWILLAND

Suffolk County Council has made an order closing the following roads:

• C362 Bonds Corner, Grundisburgh from the junction with Stoney Road to Clopton Road

• C362 Clopton Road, Grundisburgh

• C362 Clopton Road, Swilland from Clopton Road, Grundisburgh to Boundary Farm

This is to facilitate the installation of fibre network. Other co-ordinated works may also take place during this period.

Access will be open for pedestrians and cyclists.

The diversion route will be Bonds Corner, Grundisburgh, Market Hill Grundisburgh, Market Hill Clopton, Grundisburgh Road Clopton, Otley Road, Otley Bottom, Swilland Road, Swilland, Grindle Road, Willow Road, Ashbocking Road, Bartholomew Road, Ashbocking, Ashbocking Road, Lower Road Witnesham, Bergholt Road Witnesham, Bergholt Road, Westerfield Road, Woodbridge Road Rushmere St Andrew, Main Road Tuddenham St Martin, The Street Tuddenham St Martin, Clopton Road Tuddenham St Martin, Clopton Road Witnesham and vice versa.

It is intended that the closure will operate from 13/05/2026 - 25/05/2026 but, if necessary, the order may remain in force for 18 months (or longer if extended by the Minister).

Suffolk County Council has made an order closing the B1117 Stradbroke Road, Horham from the Post Office for 150 metres north eastbound to facilitate pole testing. Other co-ordinated works may also take place during this period.

Access will be open for pedestrians and cyclists.

The diversion route will be the B1117, the B1118, the A140, the B1117 and vice versa.

It is intended that the closure will operate on 22/05/2026 from 9.30am - 2.30pm but, if necessary, the order may remain in force for 18 months (or longer if extended by the Minister).

Access will be open for pedestrians and cyclists.

The diversion route will be Sandpit Lane, the B1123, Withersdale Road and vice versa.

It is intended that the closure will operate on 22/05/2026 from 9.30am - 2.30pm but, if necessary, the order may remain in force for 18 months (or longer if extended by the Minister).
