Mae’r Cyngor yn bwriadu gwneud Gorchymyn Cyngor Sir Ceredigion (Ffordd y Porthmyn, Rhes Fictoria, Teras Peterwell, Llanbedr Pont Steffan) (Gwahardd Traffig Drwodd Dros Dro) 2026, heb fod yn llai na 7 diwrnod o 12/05/2026, gan wahardd pob cerbyd rhag mynd ar hyd y briffordd honno. Cedwir mynediad i gerddwyr.

Bydd y gwaith yn cael ei wneud yn ddyddiol rhwng 08:00 a 17:00. Bydd mynediad i breswylwyr yn cael ei gynnal drwy’r amser.

Y ffordd arall ar gyfer traffig sy’n teithio tua’r gogledd-orllewin o bwynt i’r de-ddwyrain o’r cau fydd teithio ar hyd Stryd Newydd i’r cyffordd â’r A482 Heol y Bont. Trowch i’r chwith i’r A482 Heol y Bont a theithio i’r gylchfan. Dilynwch y llwybr cyntaf allan i’r A475 Stryd Fawr a Temple Terrace a theithio i’r cyffordd â Ffordd Hafan Deg. Trowch i’r chwith i Ffordd Hafan Deg a Theras Peterwell a theithio i bwynt i’r gogledd-orllewin o’r cau; ac i’r gwrthwyneb. Cyfanswm pellter o oddeutu 1200 metr. Y ffordd arall ar gyfer traffig sy’n teithio i gyfeiriad y de-orllewin o bwynt sydd i’r gogledd-ddwyrain o’r cau ar Ffordd y Porthmyn yw dilyn y dargyfeiriad presennol.

Bwriedir i’r Gorchymyn ddod i rym ar 25/05/2026 a bydd yn parhau mewn grym hyd nes y bydd y gwaith o osod ceblau wedi’i gwblhau – bydd hyn yn cymryd tua 3 diwrnod. Gall y Gorchymyn barhau mewn grym am 18 mis.

Mae’r Cyngor yn bwriadu gwneud Gorchymyn Cyngor Sir Ceredigion (Gwahardd a Chyfyngu ar Aros a Llwytho a Dadlwytho) 2019 (Heol Felin Newydd, Aberteifi) (Gorchymyn Diwygio Rhif 17) 202x, a Gorchymyn Cyngor Sir Ceredigion (Terfynau Cyflymder 20 mya, 30 mya, 40 mya a 50 mya a Ffyrdd a Ddatgynhwyd) (Cyfrynghoi) 2014 (Heol Felin Newydd, Aberteifi) (Gorchymyn Diwygio Rhif 28) 202x. Bydd y Gorchmynion hyn yn cyflwyno Gwaharddiad Parcio ar Unrhyw Amser newydd ar ochr ogleddol y ffordd o bwynt sydd 104m o’r cyffordd â Ffordd Aberystwyth am bellter o oddeutu 89m i bwynt sydd 193m o’r un gyffordd ac ymestyn y cyfyngiad cyflymder o 20mya ar hyd Heol Felin Newydd o’r cyffordd â Ffordd Aberystwyth i gyfeiriad y gogledd-ddwyrain i bwynt 210m o’r un gyffordd.

Trowch i’r dde i’r C1132 gan deithio i’r gyffordd â’r C1135. Trowch i’r dde i’r C1135 gan deithio i’r gyffordd â’r C1051 a phwynt i’r gogledd o’r cau; ac i’r gwrthwyneb. Cyfanswm pellter o oddeutu 5 milltir.

Bwriedir i’r Gorchymyn ddod i rym ar 25/05/2026 a bydd yn parhau mewn grym hyd nes y bydd y gwaith ar y ceblau wedi’i gwblhau – oddeutu 6 wythnos. Gall y Gorchymyn barhau mewn grym am 18 mis.

Ceredigion County Council

The Council intends, not less than 7 days from 12/05/2026 to make the Ceredigion County Council (Drovers Road, Victoria Terrace, Peterwell Terrace, Lampeter) (Temporary Prohibition of Through Traffic) Order 2026 to prohibit any vehicle proceeding along that highway. Pedestrian access maintained.

Works to be carried out daily 08:00–17:00. Resident access maintained at all times.

The alternative route for north-west bound traffic from a point south-east of the closure is to travel along New Street to its junction with the A482 Bridge Street. Turn left onto the A482 Bridge Street and travel to the roundabout. Take the first exit onto the A475 High Street and Temple Terrace and travel to its junction with Hafan Deg Road. Turn left onto Hafan Deg Road and Peterwell Terrace and travel to a point north-west of the closure; and vice versa. A total distance of approximately 1200 meters. The alternative route for south-west bound traffic from a point north-east of the closure at Drovers Road is to follow existing diversions.

It is intended that the Order will come into force on 25/05/2026 and will remain in place until cabling works are completed – approximately 3 days. The Order may continue in force for 18 months.

The Council proposes to make the Ceredigion County Council (Prohibition and Restriction of Waiting and Loading and Unloading) Order 2019 (New Mill Road, Cardigan) (Amendment Order No. 17) 202x and the Ceredigion County Council (20 mph, 30 mph, 40 mph and 50 mph Speed Limits and Restricted Roads) (Consolidation) Order 2014 (New Mill Road, Cardigan) (Amendment Order No. 28) 202x. The effect of these Orders will be to introduce a new Prohibition Of Parking At Any Time on the northern side of the road from a point 104m from its junction with Aberystwyth Road for a distance of 89m to a point 193m from the same junction, and to extend a 20mph speed limit along New Mill Road from its junction with Aberystwyth Road northeasterly to a point 210m from the same junction.

The alternative route for south–westbound traffic from a point north–east of the closure is to travel along the C1135 to its junction with the C1051. Turn left onto the C1051 and travel to its junction with the A487 at Plwmp. Turn left onto the A487 and travel to its junction with the C1132 at Pentregat. Turn left onto the C1132 and travel to its junction with the C1135. Turn left onto the C1135 and travel to a point south–west of the closure; and vice versa. A total distance of approximately 5 miles.

The alternative route for south–westbound traffic from a point north–east of the closure is to travel along the C1135 to its junction with the C1051. Turn left onto the C1051 and travel to its junction with the A487 at Plwmp. Turn left onto the A487 and travel to its junction with the C1132 at Pentregat. Turn left onto the C1132 and travel to its junction with the C1135. Turn left onto the C1135 and travel to a point south–west of the closure; and vice versa. A total distance of approximately 5 miles.

Phase 3 – C1051 from the Telecommunications Mast to its junction with the C1135.

22/06/2026–03/07/2026. 09:30 to 15:30

The alternative route for north–bound traffic from a point south of the closure is to travel along the C1051 to its junction with the C1181. Turn right onto the C1181 and travel to its junction with the C1132. Turn right onto the C1132 and travel to its junction with the C1135. Turn right onto the C1135 and travel to its junction with the C1051 and a point north of the closure; and vice versa. A total distance of approximately 5 miles.
