STATEMENT OF REASONS FOR MAKING THE ORDER
The Council’s reasons for proposing to make the above Order are as follows:-
A) Due to road safety concerns and congestion issues, it is proposed to implement changes, the effect of which is to introduce various parking restrictions in Bridgwater, by introducing an Experimental Traffic Regulation Order. This will enable the Council to monitor the situation to determine whether the measures are effective and also to see what impact the scheme has on traffic in the area.
B) for the purpose of assessing the effect of making an order under another provision of this Act
