RHODDIR HYSBYSIAD DRWY HYN bod y Cyngor fel yr Awdurdod Priffyrdd ar gyfer Mynyddcynffig wrth arfer ei bwerau dan Adran 14(1) Deddf Rheoleiddio Traffig Ffyrdd 1984 (fel y’i diwygiwyd), wedi creu Gorchymyn a fydd yn cyflwyno’r cyfyngiad dros dro a nodir yn yr atodlen isod. 

Gwneir y Gorchymyn oherwydd nad yw’r lôn gerbydau yn ddigon llydan i gynnal mynediad i gerbydau yn ystod gwaith ar bolion a thorri coed ac er budd diogelwch y cyhoedd. 

Daw'r Gorchymyn i rym ar 06/05/2026 a bydd yn parhau mewn grym am hyd at 18 mis neu nes bydd y gwaith wedi'i gwblhau, p'un bynnag sydd gynharaf. 

Rhagwelir y bydd y gwaith arfaethedig yn cael ei wneud rhwng 09:30 a 15:30 o 18/05/2026 i 22/05/2026.

Atodlen-Ni chaiff neb beri i unrhyw gerbyd fynd ar hyd 1400 metr o Ffordd Waunbant o'r gyffordd â Llwyn Helig a hynny mewn 3 rhan fel y manylwyd:

Rhan 1 - Llwyn Helig i Fferm Stormy

Rhan 2 - Fferm Stormy i East West Cottage

Rhan 3 - East West Cottage i drosbont yr M4. 

Y llwybr amgen
ar gyfer cerbydau yw trwy Ffordd Waunbant, Commercial Street, y Stryd Fawr, Cefn Road, Rogers Lane, Tranch, Ffordd Waunbant, ac i'r gwrthwyneb. 

Bydd mynediad trwy ardal y cyfyngiad i’r Heddlu a’r Gwasanaethau Tân ac Ambiwlans wrth ymateb i argyfyngau. 

Cynhelir mynediad i gerddwyr at bob eiddo o fewn ardal y cyfyngiad ar hyd llwybrau a ddiffinnir trwy gydol y cyfnod cau.Fodd bynnag, bydd y cyfyngiadau’n berthnasol dim ond ar adegau ac i’r graddau a ddangosir o bryd i’w gilydd ar arwyddion traffig a osodir gan Reoliadau a Chyfarwyddiadau Cyffredinol Arwyddion Traffig 2016.

BRIDGEND COUNTY BOROUGH COUNCIL
(WAUN BANT ROAD, KENFIG HILL) TEMPORARY TRAFFIC ORDER 2026 

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council as the Highway Authority for Kenfig Hill in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) has made an which temporarily introduces the restriction set out in the schedule below. 

The Order is due to insufficient width of carriageway to maintain vehicular access during poles and tree cutting works and is in the interest of public safety. 

The Order will come into force on the 06/05/2026 and will continue in force for a maximum period of 18 months or until such time as the works are completed, whichever is the sooner. 

It is anticipated the planned works will be undertaken between the hours of 09:30 and 15:30 from 18/05/2026 to 22/05/2026. 

Schedule-No person shall cause any vehicle to proceed along 1400 meters of Waun Bant Road from its junction with Llwyn Helig to be completed in 3 sections as detailed: 

Section 1 - Llwyn Helig to Stormy Farm 

Section 2 - Stormy Farm to East West Cottage 

Section 3 - East West Cottage to M4 overbridge.The alternative route for vehicles is via Waun Bant Road, Commercial Street, High Street, Cefn Road, Rogers Lane, Tranch, Waun Bant Road, and vice versa. 

Access will be provided through the restriction for Police, Fire and Ambulance Services responding to emergencies. 

Pedestrian access to all properties within the restriction will be maintained along defined routes throughout the period of the closure. 

The restrictions shall however only apply at such time and to such extent as shall from time to time be indicated by traffic signs prescribed by The Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016.
