What is happening?
Somerset Council Parish of Lympsham Temporary Closure of Rectory Way
Somerset Council in exercise of its powers under Section 14 (1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended, propose to make an Order prohibiting all traffic from proceeding along: Rectory Way - from the junction with Brean Road, eastwards for a total distance of 450 metres. This Order will enable Heidelberg to carry out prep and resurfacing works on behalf of Somerset Highways.
The Order becomes effective on 26th May 2026 and will remain in force for 18 months. The works are expected to commence on 1st June 2026 and last until 4th June 2026 between the hours of 09:30 - 15:30 for a total of 4 days.
