What is happening?
Somerset Council Parish of Bawdrip Temporary Closure of New Road
Somerset Council in exercise of its powers under Section 14 (1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended, have made an Order prohibiting all traffic from proceeding along: New Road - from the junction with Bath Road, southwards for a total distance of 20 metres. This Order will enable Openreach to carry out fibre cabling works.
The Order becomes effective on 12th May 2026 and will remain in force for 18 months. The works are expected to commence on 18th May 2026 and last until 20th May 2026 between the hours of 20:00 - 06:00 for a total of 2 nights.
