and will attend at:
Strensall & Towthorpe Village Hall, Northfields, Strensall, York, YO32 5XW on 9 June 2026 at 10.00am
To hold a public local inquiry into the Order
The effect of the Order, if confirmed without modifications, will be to modify the definitive map and statement by adding 15 public footpaths as described:
(Strensall 22) from Haxby Moor Road bridge along the top of the flood bank on the eastern side of the River Foss to the railway bridge (SE 6263 6056 to SE 6257 6003).
(Strensall 23) from the bridge at Towthorpe Road along the eastern bank of the River Foss to the bridge at Haxby Moor Road (SE 6211 5914 to SE 6262 6054).
(Strensall 24) from near the Haxby Moor Road bridge towards the River Foss (SE 6264 6055 to SE 6262 6054).
(Strensall 25) from near the eastern bank of the River Foss to the railway (SE 6256 6050 to SE 6262 6007).
(Strensall 26) from Creaser Close to the River Foss flood bank (SE 6260 6043 to SE 6253 6046).
(Strensall 27) from the chicane at the end of Creaser Close west to the flood bank of the River Foss (SE 6259 6043 to SE 6252 6043).
(Strensall 28) across the open space between Middlecroft Drive and Westpit Lane (SE 6270 6020 to SE 6260 6022).
(Strensall 30) heading west between no. 38 and no. 40 Westpit Lane towards the River Foss (SE 6259 6023 to SE 6249 6020).
(Strensall 31) from Middlecroft Drive near the railway footbridge along the side of the railway to the River Foss (SE 6286 6024 to SE 6256 6005).
(Strensall 32) from Middlecroft Drive towards the railway (SE 6271 6019 to SE 6275 6016).
(Strensall 33) from Wood Close over the playing field to Westpit Lane (SE 6274 6029 to SE 6270 6038).
(Strensall 34) from its junction with footpath Strensall 25 towards the railway bridge (SE 6259 6009 to SE 6258 6004).
(Strensall 35) along the higher eastern flood bank of the River Foss south of the railway bridge (SE 6258 6001 to SE 6271 5973).
(Strensall 36) from Chaldon Close west towards the River Foss (SE 6272 5985 to SE 6268 5985).
(Strensall 37) from the chicanes at Chaldon Close northwards towards the River Foss (SE 6272 5985 to SE 6265 5991).
