THE METROPOLITAN BOROUGH COUNCIL OF STOCKPORT (WORDSWORTH ROAD, REDDISH) (REVOCATION) NOTICE 2026
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Metropolitan Borough Council of Stockport has on 5 May 2026 made an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, the Road Traffic Act 1991 and the Traffic Management Act 2004 which will come into operation on 8 June 2026. The effect of the Order will be to revoke No Waiting at Any Time at Wordsworth Road, north-west side from a point 10 metres north-east of the cul-de-sac end for a distance of 10 metres in a south-westerly direction and 5 metres in an easterly direction. A copy of the Order and map may be obtained from Stockport Legal Services, Town Hall Stockport. Any person wishing to question the validity of the Order or any of its provisions on the ground that it is not within the powers of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 or the Road Traffic Act 1991, or that a requirement of the Act or of any relevant regulations made thereunder has not been complied with may, within 6 weeks from the date on which the Order was made, make application for the purpose to the High Court.
