What is happening?
The COUNCIL made The Stirling Council (Weight Restriction)
(Consolidation and Amendment No 15) Order 2026 under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) on 1-5-26.
The Order will increase the current 3 tonne weight limit on the B8034 at Cardross Bridge, following repair and strengthening works the weight restriction has reverted back to the original 10 tonnes.
A COPY of the Order can be requested by e-mailing traffic@stirling.gov.uk quoting Ref No TM/6 – SRO/2026(33).
Anyone wishing to question the validity of this Order, should write to the Court of Session with six weeks of 1-5-26.
The COUNCIL made The Stirling Council (Stroneslaney Road, Balquhidder) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2026 under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) on 1-5-26.
This Order will close:
| Stroneslaney Road | From its junction with the C33 (Balquhidder) south to its junction with the A84(T) (Strathyre) from 0930 hours until 1530 hours from 25-5-26 until 31-5-26 to facilitate roads maintenance works. Emergency Service access will be maintained. |
| Alternative Routes: | via C33, A84 and vice versa. |

| C33 | From the junction of Stroneslaney Road to the road end at Inverlochlarig from 0900 hours until 1200 hours and from 1300 hours until 1800 hours from 18-5-26 until 29-5-26 to facilitate roads maintenance works. |
| Emergency service access will be maintained and provisions will be made for school buses when available. |

| This is phased work starting at the road end at Inverlochlarig and working back towards Balquhidder. The works location and section of road closed will be indicated by signage erected on-site. |
