TEMPORARY TRAFFIC REGULATION ORDER 2026
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Bournemouth, Christchurch and Poole Council in exercise of its powers under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended and the Traffic Management Act 2004, has made temporary traffic regulations, with the effects detailed below, to control traffic.
WHAT & WHERE:
• Poole Road closed eastbound to all vehicles (remains open to westbound vehicles) from its junction with Pottery Junction Roundabout to the property boundary of Nos. 434/432
• Cromer Road closed to all vehicles from its junction with Poole Road to its junction with Wills Road
• Poole Road no parking – no waiting at any time and no loading/unloading at any time from the property boundary of Nos. 451/453 to the property boundary of Nos. 463/465
• Ashley Road no parking – no waiting at any time and no loading/unloading at any time from the property boundary of Nos. 7/9 to the property boundary of Nos. 19/21
WHY: This is to facilitate gas main replacement works by SGN
WHEN: Anticipated dates: 25th May 2026 until 26th July 2026
ACCESS: Full emergency services access will be maintained, access to properties will remain depending on site safety
DIVERSION: Via signed routes

These arrangements may be amended/extended should works overrun or weather conditions delay operations. Restrictions may be in effect under this Order for up to 18 months, and could be further extended with the approval of the Secretary of State.
The Council regrets any inconvenience to the public caused by this traffic order.
