Kent County Council, acting in exercise of its powers under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, makes or intends to make the following Orders.
TONBRIDGE & MALLING AREA
A227 The Street, Ightham (NO WAITING & PROHIBITION OF PARKING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2026
To allow pole testing works to be carried out, Kent County Council intends to make an Order to temporarily impose no waiting and prohibition of parking on part of A227 The Street, Ightham, on or after 1st June 2026 for up to 1 day, or until the works have been completed.
No waiting and prohibition of parking will be imposed in the vicinity of opposite Stone House, between the hours of 09:30 and 15:30 weekday only. To the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.
B2016 Seven Mile Lane, Offham, TN15 8QY (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2026
To allow cover repair works to be carried out, Kent County Council intends to make an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of B2016 Seven Mile Lane, Offham, on or after 1st June 2026 for up to 3 days or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed in the vicinity of Viking Oak Kennels, between the hours of 19:00 and 06:00 only. To the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.

The road will be closed from property named De Latour to The Old Farmhouse. To the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.
The alternative route for any through traffic is via Plaxdale Green Road, Tumblefield Road, Labour In Vain Road, Plaxdale Green Road and vice versa.
Saltings Road, Snodland (PROHIBITION OF PEDESTRIANS) TEMPORARY ORDER 2026
To allow ducting works to be carried out, Kent County Council intends to make an Order to temporarily prohibit pedestrian through traffic on part of Saltings Road, Snodland, on or after 1st June 2026 for up to 5 days or until the works have been completed.
The footway will be closed from property numbers 228 and 231, in a North direction towards property number 230, between the hours of 09:30 and 15:30 weekdays only. To the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.
There is no alternative route for any pedestrian through traffic. Pedestrian access will be maintained where it is safe to do so.
Sandy Lane, Addington, ME19 5BX (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2026
To allow meter lid repair works to be carried out, Kent County Council has made an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Sandy Lane, Addington, on or after 18th May 2026 for up to 3 days or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed in the vicinity of property named Kynance. To the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.
The alternative route for any through traffic is via Sandy Lane, Ford Lane, A20 London Road, St Vincents Lane, Sandy Lane and vice versa.
School Lane, Wouldham, ME1 3TS (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2026
To allow new high voltage cabling works to be carried out, Kent County Council has made an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of School Lane, Wouldham, on or after 23rd May 2026 for up to 9 days or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed from the UKPN substation to the junction of Oldfield Drive. To the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.
The alternative routes for any through traffic are via:
Diversion 1 - School Lane, Pilgrims Way, Knowle Road, High Street.
Diversion 2 - School Lane, Wouldham Road, Burham Road, Pilgrims Way.
Snodland Road, Birling, ME19 5JW (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2026
To allow frame and cover repair works to be carried out, Kent County Council intends to make an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Snodland Road, Birling, on or after 1st June 2026 for up to 3 days or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed in the vicinity of property number 1. To the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.
The alternative route for any through traffic is via Ryarsh Road, Birling Road, The Street, Roughetts Road, A20 London Road, A228 Ashton Way, A228 Leybourne By Pass, A228 Castle Way, A228 Malling Road, A228 Snodland By-pass roundabout, Malling Road, St Katherines Lane, Birling Road, Snodland Road and vice versa.
Spring Lane, Ightham, TN15 9DH (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2026
To allow new gas service connection works to be carried out, Kent County Council has made an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Spring Lane, Ightham, on or after 18th May 2026 for up to 4 days or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed in the vicinity of property named Glenwood. To the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.
The alternative route for any through traffic is via Spring Lane, Oldbury Lane, A25 Ightham Bypass, Spring Lane and vice versa.

To allow telegraph pole replacement works to be carried out, Kent County Council intends to make an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Vauxhall Lane, Southborough, on or after 2nd June 2026 for up to 2 days or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed opposite Little Rock Wood, approximately 90 metres West from Tonbridge Cottage Hospital. To the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.
The alternative route for any through traffic is via Vauxhall Lane, A2014 Pembury Road, A26 Quarry Hill Road, A26 London Road, Vauxhall Lane and vice versa.
