TEMPORARY FOOTPATH CLOSURE COMMUNITY OF LOUGHOR (FOOTPATHS LR26 & LR71)
NOTICE is hereby given that the Council of the City and County of Swansea in pursuance of its powers under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 intend not less than seven days from the date hereof to make an Order. The closure is required for health and safety reasons whilst works are undertaken to construct a solar array in accordance with planning permission DNS CAS-01900-V0J7C7.
FOOTPATHS TO BE CLOSED:
Footpath 26 from Swansea Road (B4620) for 600 metres in a south south-westerly direction
to a point 100 metres north of the Afon Llan.
Footpath 71 from Swansea Road (B4620) adjacent to Cae-newydd for 390 metres in a southerly direction to a point 80 metres north of the Afon Llan.
The closure will operate from 22 May 2026 for a period of six months or until the works are completed, whichever is sooner.
