Jarratt Street - Temporary Prohibition of Through Traffic
What is happening?
THE KINGSTON UPON HULL CITY COUNCIL
JARRATT STREET (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC) ORDER 2026
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Kingston upon Hull City Council by virtue of S.14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 intends to make an Order.
The effect of the Order will be to prohibit any person with a vehicle from proceeding along:- Jarratt Street, from Worship Street to Bond Street, Kingston upon Hull.
The purpose of the Order is to ensure the safety of the public and operatives during Installation of new district heating network on Jarratt Street. 2no pre-insulated heating pipes and 2no 100mm associated comms ducting feeding the above buildings Works in 3 phases:
Phase 1 Worship Street to Kingston Square
Phase 2 Kingston Square to Charles Street
Phase 3 Charles Street to Bond Street
The alternative route for vehicles will be signed.
The Order will take effect on 25th May 2026 and may continue in force for a period not exceeding eighteen months or until the works which it is proposed to carry out have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
It is anticipated, however, that the works will be completed between 00:00 on 25th May 2026 and 23:59 on 12th July 2026.
