Mudford Road - Temporary Footpath Closure for Duct Installation Works

Somerset Council Parish of Yeovil Without Temporary Closure of Mudford Road Footpath

Somerset Council in exercise of its powers under Section 14 (1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended, intends to make an Order, the effect of which will prohibit all pedestrian traffic from proceeding along; Mudford Road Footpath- from the junction with Footpath Between Mudford Road and Fairmead Road, north-eastwards for a total distance of 181 metres. This Order will enable Openreach to lay new duct.

The Order becomes effective on 22nd May 2026 and will remain in force for 6 months. The works are expected to commence on 30th May 2026 and last until 30th May 2026 between the hours of 09:00 - 17:00 for a total of 8 hours.
