Somerset - Temporary Road Closure Due To Utility Works

Somerset Council Parish of Pitcombe Temporary Closure of Cole To Sunny Hill

Somerset Council in exercise of its powers under Section 14 (1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended, propose to make an Order prohibiting all traffic from proceeding along: Cole To Sunny Hill - from the junction with Wyke Lane to the junction with Ridge Lane. A total distance of 311 metres. This Order will enable Wessex Water to replace a chamber.

The Order becomes effective on 22nd May 2026 and will remain in force for 18 months. The works are expected to commence on 26th May 2026 and last until 28th May 2026 between the hours of 00:00 - 23:59 for a total of 3 days.
