CUMBERLAND COUNCIL (VARIOUS ROADS IN THE CUMBERLAND COUNCIL AREA) (TEMPORARY TRAFFIC REGULATION) (NO.7) ORDER 2026
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that to enable utility works to be carried out (“the Works”), Cumberland Council intends to make an Order the effect of which is to prohibit any vehicle from proceeding along the following sections of road:
UI316, Hurley Road, Little Corby, from a point adjacent to Nos. 75 and 105, Hurley Road, extending in a north easterly direction for the entire length of the cul-de-sac.
There is no suitable alternative route available for vehicles.
Duration: From 27 May 2026 for approx. 1 day, between 0800 and 1800 hours (Ref: TTROC/18170)
Dalston Street, Denton Holme from its junction with East Norfolk Street, extending in an overall southerly direction for approx. 10m.
Alternative Route: via the unrestricted section of Dalston Street, East Dale Street, Denton Street and East Norfolk Street.
East Norfolk Street, Denton Holme from a point approx. 40m east of its junction with Denton Street, extending in an overall easterly direction for a total distance of approx. 20m.
Alternative Route: via the unrestricted sections of the East Norfolk Street, Denton Street and Graham Street.

Uldale Road, Carlisle from its junction with Upperby Road, extending in a south westerly direction for approx. 10m.
Alternative Route: via the unrestricted section of Uldale Road, Scalegate Road, Sunnymede, Brisco Road and Upperby Road or the unrestricted section of Uldale Road, Scalegate Road Ridley Road and Upperby Road.
Duration: From 28 June 2026 for approx. 1 day, between 0900 and 1200 (midday) hours (Ref: TTROC/18171)
Crown Street, Carlisle from its junction with the A6 Botchergate, extending in a south westerly direction for approx. 40m.
Alternative Route: via the unrestricted section of the Crown Street, Lancaster Street, Albion Street, St Nicholas Street, London Road and Botchergate.
Duration: From 30 June 2026 for approx. 1 day, between 0900 and 1200 (midday) hours (Ref: TTROC/18183)
