What is happening?
Somerset Council Parish of Pitcombe Temporary Closure of Hadspen To Cole
Somerset Council in exercise of its powers under Section 14 (1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended, have made an Order prohibiting all traffic from proceeding along: Hadspen To Cole - from 115 metres north of the junction with Nettlecombe Hill, northwards for a total distance of 218 metres. This Order will enable Wessex Water to replace a chamber and cover.
The Order becomes effective on 8th May 2026 and will remain in force for 18 months. The works are expected to commence on 11th May 2026 and last until 13th May 2026 between the hours of 00:00 - 23:59 for a total of 3 days.
