Church Lane - Temporary Road Closure Due To Underground Cabling Works

Somerset Council Parish of Stratton on the Fosse Temporary Closure of Church Lane

Somerset Council in exercise of its powers under Section 14 (1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended, have made an Order prohibiting all traffic from proceeding along: Church Lane - from the junction with Fosse Way to the junction with South Street. A total distance of 117 metres.

This Order will enable UG Cabling to rectify defects on behalf of Truespeed.

The Order becomes effective on 8th May 2026 and will remain in force for 18 months. The works are expected to commence on 11th May 2026 and last until 15th May 2026 between the hours of 00:00 - 23:59 for a total of 5 days.
