Somerset Council in exercise of its powers under Section 14 (1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended, have made an Order prohibiting all traffic from proceeding along: The Barton - from the junction with Church Street, north-westwards for a total distance of 13 metres. This Order will enable Network Plus to cut off redundant leaking pipe on behalf of Bristol Water.
The Order becomes effective on 8th May 2026 and will remain in force for 18 months. The works are expected to commence on 13th May 2026 and last until 15th May 2026 between the hours of 00:00 - 23:59 for a total of 3 days.
