Proposed Installation And Removal Of Disabled Parking Bays, Various Roads

1. Notice is hereby given that Portsmouth City Council proposes to make the following Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984; The Portsmouth City Council (Various Roads) (Disabled Persons’ Parking Places) (No. 4) Order 2026.
2. The effect would be as follows:
a) To introduce enforceable disabled bays in the following locations.:
Amberley Road - Outside no. 46
Amberley Road - Outside no. 80
Ariel Road - Outside no. 15
Balfour Road - Outside no. 68
Browning Avenue - Outside no. 21
Bude Close - Outside no. 34
Clive Road - Outside no. 158
Down End Road - Outside no. 3a
Deerhurst Crescent - Outside no. 78
Farlington Road - Outside no. 35
Fifth Street - Outside no. 13
Garnier Street - Outside no. 46
Hayling Avenue - Outside no. 163
Highgate Road - Outside no. 12

Folkestone Road - Outside no. 47
Guildford Road - Outside no. 47

Lyndhurst Road - Outside no. 94
Mayles Road - Outside no. 67
Percy Road - Outside no. 65

3. The bays would be available for use by Blue Badge holders only at all times. The Blue Badge or relevant permit issued by the council must be displayed in the windscreen of the vehicle at all times when using the bay.

5. Persons wishing to object to these proposals must do so by sending their representations to

or by post to Traffic Regulation Orders, Parking Team, Portsmouth City Council, Civic Offices, Portsmouth PO1 2NE, quoting ref P012-26 within 21 days of the date of this Notice (i.e. by 1st June 2026) stating the grounds for the objection.
