ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984: SECTION 14
TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF PART OF THE U7064 CHURCH END AND THE GREEN, DEPDEN
Suffolk County Council has made an order closing the following roads:
• the U7064 Church End, Depden from Bury Road to the Green
• the U7064 The Green, Depden from Church End to The Grove.
This is to facilitate the installation of a fibre network. Other co-ordinated works may also take place during this period. Access will be open for pedestrians and cyclists.
The diversion route will be The A143, The Street, Chevington Road, Cheddburgh Road, Hargrave Road, Chevington Road, Hargrave, Oakhambrook, Chevington Road, Ashfield Green and vice versa.
It is intended that the closure will operate from 09/05/2026 - 10/05/2026 but, if necessary, the order may remain in force for 18 months (or longer if extended by the Minister).

TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF PART OF FOOTPATH 17, KELSALE CUM CARLTON
Suffolk County Council intends to make an order closing Footpath 17, Kelsale Cum Carlton from North Green for 65 metres north eastbound to facilitate public safety for building works. Other co-ordinated works may also take place during this period.
It is intended that the closure will operate from 20/05/2026 - 19/11/2026 or longer if extended by the Minister.

SUFFOLK COUNTY COUNCIL (HADELEIGH (FOOTPATH 15) TEMPORARY CLOSURE) ORDER 2024
This order, which came into effect on 30/12/2024 closing Footpath 15 at Aldham Mill Footbridge, has been extended in force by the Minister until 08/12/2027 or until the completion of the works, whichever is the earlier.
This closure remains required due to an unsafe bridge. Without extension the order would have been in effect until 08/06/2026.
The diversion route remains Aldham Mill Lane Footpath 17 to Footpath 15 and vice versa.

TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF PART OF THE U8336 HORNERS GREEN AND U8335 BUTCHERS LAND, GROTON AND BOXFORD
Suffolk County Council intends to make an order closing the following roads:
• U8336 Horners Green, Groton from Horners Green House for 10 metres northbound
• U8335 Butchers Lane, Boxford from the junction with Horners Green for 20 metres north westbound.
This is to facilitate stop tap repairs. Other co-ordinated works may also take place during this period.
Access will be open for pedestrians and cyclists.
The diversion route will be the road from the B331 to the B326, OW Road, Groton, Church Street, Groton, Swan Street, Groton, Swan Street, Boxford, Broad Street, Boxford and vice versa.
It is intended that the closure will operate from 20/05/2026 - 21/05/2026 but, if necessary, the order may remain in force for 18 months (or longer if extended by the Minister).

SUFFOLK COUNTY COUNCIL (BOROUGH OF IPSWICH) (STOPPING, WAITING AND LOADING PROHIBITIONS AND RESTRICTIONS AND ON-STREET PARKING PLACES) CONSOLIDATION ORDER 2019 (BOROUGH OF IPSWICH) (VARIOUS ROADS) (PROHIBITION OF WAITING) (VARIATION No.50) ORDER 202-
Suffolk County Council proposes to make the above order under Sections 1(1) and (2), 2(1) to (3), 4(2) and Part IV of Schedule 9 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, which would substitute revision 1 of Map Tile GK127 and revision 2 of Map Tile GK128 in place of revision 0 and revision 1 of the same Map Tiles respectively into the above-named 2019 order. The effect of this would be to:
• Introduce ‘No Waiting at Any Time’ on:
• Newbury Road (U2672) on its north side for 2m at the west side of its junction with Lattice Avenue (U2674).
• Newbury Road (U2672), on its north side for 2.1m at the east side of its junction with Lattice Avenue (U2674).
• Freehold Road (U2671), on its north side, for 3.6m at the west side of the junction with Bloomfield Street (U2655).
• Freehold Road (U2671) on its north side for 4.1m at the east side of its junction with Bloomfield Street (U2655).
• Remove the existing ‘No Waiting at any time’ on:
• Lattice Avenue (U2674) on its west side at its junction with Newbury Road (U2672) for 8.2m
• Lattice Avenue (U2674) on its east side at its junction with Newbury Road (U2672) for 8.5m
• Bloomfield Street (U2655) on its west side, from its junction with Freehold Road (U2671) for 8.9m
• Bloomfield Street (U2655) on its east side, from its junction with Freehold Road (U2671) for 9.5m
• Parliament Road (U2665) on the west side for 3.6m on the east side of the junction with Freehold Road
• Parliament Road (U2665) on its east side for 3.6m on the east side of the junction with Parliament Road
Exemptions to the waiting restrictions allow a vehicle to wait for so long as is necessary to board or alight or to load and unload for building, industrial or demolition works; for emergency services; for the maintenance of the road or its services; and for fulfilling statutory duties. There are the usual exemptions for Blue Badge holders.

Suffolk County Council proposes to make the above order under Sections 1 and 2 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, the effect of which would be to introduce a prohibition of right turn for all vehicles turning right, northbound, from the Pakefield Holiday Park, into London Road, Pakefield.

If anyone wishes to question the validity of the order or of any provision contained in it on the grounds that it is not within the powers conferred by the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, or on the grounds that any of the requirements of that Act or any instrument made under it have not been complied with in relation to the order, they may within six weeks of the date on which the order was made apply to the High Court for this purpose.
