THE COUNCIL INTENDS TO MAKE

Buckinghamshire Council Wycombe Rd, Piddington (30 mph Speed Limit) Order 2026 under the Rd Traffic Regulation Act 1984. The effect of the Order will be to impose a 30 miles per hour speed restriction. This Order provides for the revocation of any speed limit operative prior to this Order coming into effect relating to that length of Wycombe Rd, Piddington as described above to the extent that this Order takes effect.

(Hammersley Ln, High Wycombe) (Temporary Prohibition of Through Traffic) Order, 2026 which will temporarily prohibit any vehicle from proceeding, except for access, in Hammersley Ln for approx. 35M. Alternative route: Hammersley Ln, London Rd, Cock Ln, New Rd, Church Rd and vice versa. The closure is required whilst a new water connection commences on 26 May 2026. The proposed Order will come into operation on 26 May 2026, as signed, with maximum 18 months duration.

(School Ln, Amersham) (Temporary Prohibition of Through Traffic) Order, 2026 which will temporarily prohibit any vehicle from proceeding, except for access, in School Ln for approx. 74M. Alternative route: Mill Ln, High St, Market Square, Church St, School Ln and vice versa. The closure is required whilst overhead service line repair commences on 28 May 2026. The proposed Order will come into operation on 28 May 2026, as signed, with maximum 18 months duration.

(Hamilton Rd, High Wycombe) (Temporary Prohibition of Through Traffic) Order, 2026 which will temporarily prohibit any vehicle from proceeding, except for access, in Hamilton Rd for approx. 65M. Alternative route: Amersham Rd, Amersham Hill, Crendon St, Queen Victoria Rd, Abbey Way, Gyratory, Abbey Way, Access Rd to Eden Shopping Centre, Oxford Rd, Arch Way, Glenisters Rd, Hughenden Rd, Hughenden Boulevard, Hamilton Rd, Ridge Way and vice versa. The closure is required whilst signalised crossing upgrade commences on 9 June 2026. The proposed Order will come into operation on 9 June 2026, as signed, with maximum 18 months duration.

(Wooburn Town, Wooburn Green) (Temporary Prohibition of Through Traffic) Order, 2026 which will temporarily prohibit any vehicle from proceeding, except for access, in Wooburn Town for approx. 14M. Alternative route: Town Ln, Wooburn Town and vice versa. The closure is required whilst a service pipe repair commences on 25 May 2026. The proposed Order will come into operation on 25 May 2026, as signed, with maximum 18 months duration.

(Hedgerley Ln, Gerrards Cross) (Temporary Prohibition of Through Traffic) Order, 2026 which will temporarily prohibit any vehicle from proceeding, except for access, in Hedgerley Ln for approx. 47M. Alternative route: Hedgerley Ln, Village Ln, Hedgerley Hill, Cottage Park Rd, Colum Green Rd, Windsor Rd and vice versa. The closure is required whilst installation of telecommunications pole commences on 26 May 2026. The proposed Order will come into operation on 26 May 2026, as signed, with maximum 18 months duration.

(Bull Ln, Chalfont St Peter) (Temporary Prohibition of Through Traffic) Order, 2026 which will temporarily prohibit any vehicle from proceeding, except for access, in Bull Ln for approx. 75M. Alternative route: Bull Ln, Austenwood Common, South Side, Packhorse Rd, Oxford Rd, West Common, Bulstrode Way and vice versa. The closure is required whilst a service pipe repair commences on 26 May 2026. The proposed Order will come into operation on 26 May 2026, as signed, with maximum 18 months duration.

(Maxwell Rd, Beaconsfield) (Temporary Prohibition of Through Traffic) Order, 2026 which will temporarily prohibit any vehicle from proceeding, except for access, in Maxwell Rd for approx. 20M. Alternative route: Maxwell Rd and vice versa. The closure is required whilst a new water connection commences on 18 May 2026. The proposed Order will come into operation on 18 May 2026, as signed, with maximum 18 months duration.

(Back Ln, Chalfont St Giles) (Temporary Prohibition of Through Traffic) Order, 2026 which will temporarily prohibit any vehicle from proceeding, except for access, in Back Ln for approx. 40M. Alternative route: Back Ln, Deanway, School Ln, Silver Hill, Bottrells Ln and vice versa. The closure is required whilst a new water connection commences on 27 May 2026. The proposed Order will come into operation on 27 May 2026, as signed, with maximum 18 months duration.

(Slad Lane, Speen) (Temporary Prohibition of Through Traffic) Order, 2026 which will temporarily prohibit any vehicle from proceeding, except for access, in Slad Lane for approx. 29M. Alternative route: Slad Lane, New Road and vice versa. The closure is required whilst Gigaclear works commences on 18th May 2026. The proposed Order will come into operation on 18th May 2026, as signed, with maximum 18 months duration.

(Bois Lane, Chesham Bois) (Temporary Prohibition of Through Traffic) Order, 2026 which will temporarily prohibit any vehicle from proceeding, except for access, in Bois Lane for approx. 61M. Alternative route: Rickmansworth Road, Chesham Road, Amersham Road, Waterside, Moor Road and vice versa. The closure is required whilst Cadent Gas works commences on 26th May 2026. The proposed Order will come into operation on 26th May 2026, as signed, with maximum 18 months duration.

THE COUNCIL INTENDS TO MAKE

The Buckinghamshire Council (Public Footpath No’s. 1/3, 23/1, 23/2 & 24/1, Parish of Marlow) (Temporary Footpath Closure) Order 2026 under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, which will temporarily prohibit any person from proceeding, except for access, in that length of Public Footpath commencing at the junction of MAW/23/3 & MAW/24/1 and continuing south for approx. 200M to the junction of MAW/1/2 & MAW/1/3. Continuing along MAW/1/2 for approx. 40M and south along MAW/1/3 for approx. 120M. MAW/24/1, closed from the junction of MAW/23/1 & MAW/23/2 continuing north west for approx. 80M. Alternative route is via existing highway network and diversion. The closure is required to enable Marlow Pub in the Park to take place. The Order will come into operation on 10 May 2026, as signed, with a maximum duration of 6 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the soonest.

The Buckinghamshire Council (Public Footpath No. 12/1, Parish of Hazlemere) (Temporary Footpath Closure) Order 2026 under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, which will temporarily prohibit any person from proceeding, except for access, in that length of Public Footpath commencing at the junction of HB FP 12/1 & Penn Road and continuing northeast fronting Penn Road Cemetery. Alternative route is via Penn Road, HAZFP14/1 and Amersham Road. The closure is required to allow repairs at the location to excavate and locate all missing fittings. The Order will come into operation on 18 May 2026, as signed, with a maximum duration of 6 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the soonest.

The Buckinghamshire Council (Public Bridleway No’s. 14/1 & 14/2, Parish of Weston Turville) (Temporary Bridleway Closure) Order 2026 under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, which will temporarily prohibit any person from proceeding, except for access, in that length of Public Bridleway No’s. 14/1 & 14/2 from the junction of Church Lane continuing south east up to the junction of WTD/BW16/1. The closure is required in the interest of public safety due to a failed bridge requiring replacement. There is no alternative route. The proposed Order will come into operation on 14 May 2026, as signed, with a maximum duration of 6 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the soonest.
