TEMPORARY TRAFFIC REGULATION ORDER 2026
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that in accordance with Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 Southampton City Council made the above Order on 4th May 2026.
1. The effect of the Order will be to close Dyer Road from its junction with Shirley Road to 30m south of its junction with Shirley Road.
2. The Order is required because works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the road. These works are for highway remedials.
3. The alternative routes will be Shirley Road, Grove Road, Firgrove Road and Dyer Road.
4. The Order will come into force on 11th May 2026 and has a maximum duration of 18 months or until the completion of the works, whichever is sooner. It is expected that the works will be complete by 15th May 2026.
