(B712 RACHAN MILL, BROUGHTON) (TEMPORARY CLOSING) NO 2 ORDER 2026

The Scottish Borders Council (B712 Rachan Mill, Broughton) (Temporary Closing) No 2 Order 2026 has been made under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended. The Order, which has a maximum duration of 18 months, will come into force at 08:00 on 11 May 2026 and is expected to remain in effect until 16:00 on 15 May 2026. The Order is required for water investigation works.

When the Order comes into effect no person shall drive or cause or permit to be driven any vehicle along the B712 at Rachan Mill, Broughton.

The alternative route for south westbound traffic is via the B712, A72, A701 and B712 to the point of closure, for north eastbound traffic the reverse of the foregoing.

(DAMDALE, PEEBLES)

(TEMPORARY TRAFFIC REGULATION) ORDER 2026

The Scottish Borders Council (Damdale, Peebles) (Temporary Traffic Regulation) Order 2026 has been made under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended. The Order, which has a maximum duration of 18 months, will come into force at 08:00 on 11 May 2026 and is expected to remain in effect until 17:00 on 12 May 2026.

The Order is required for Scottish Water works.

When the Order comes into effect no person shall:

(a) drive or cause or permit to be driven any vehicle along Damdale, Peebles.

    The alternative route for northbound traffic is via Damdale, Murray Place, March Street, and Damdale to point of closure, for southbound traffic the reverse of the foregoing; and

(b) permit any vehicle to wait or to be parked along Damdale, Peebles on both sides of the carriageway from the junction of Young Street for approximately 50 metres to number 20 Damdale

(TEMPORARY CLOSING) ORDER 2026

The Scottish Borders Council (A701 Blairburn) (Temporary Closing) Order 2026 has been made under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended. The Order, which has a maximum duration of 18 months, will come into force on 11 May 2026 and is expected to remain in effect until 15 May 2026 between the hours of 08:30 and 17:00 each day.

The Order is required for patching works.

When the Order comes into effect no person shall drive or cause or permit to be driven any vehicle along the A701 Blairburn.

The alternative route for southbound traffic is via the A701, A703, A72 and A701 to the point of closure, for northbound traffic the reverse of the foregoing.
