Temporary Road Closure

Preston Place, Richmond.

1. The Council of the London Borough of Richmond upon Thames HEREBY GIVES NOTICE that to facilitate electrical works, they have made a temporary Traffic Order, the effect of which will be to introduce a temporary prohibition of traffic in Preston Place, Richmond.

2. Whilst the works take place no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed, wait or stand in Preston Place, from the junction with Church Road eastwards for approximately 12 metres.

3. The order will come into effect on 11 May 2026 These works are anticipated to be in progress at all times from 11 May 2026 to 13 May 2026 The order will remain in force for a period of 18 months, to allow for unexpected events and possible remedial works.

4. The prohibitions apply only during such time and to such extent as indicated by prescribed traffic signs.

5. Nothing in the Order applies to:

(a) any vehicle being used in connection with the execution of the said works or any public service or utility vehicle;

(b) anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police officer in uniform or a civil enforcement officer; or

(c) any vehicle being used for Police, fire brigade or ambulance purposes.

6. Any vehicle waiting in contravention of any restriction imposed by the Order may be removed under the provisions of the Removal and Disposal of Vehicles Regulations 1986.

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 – SECTION 14 (1)

Temporary Road Closure

1. The Council of the London Borough of Richmond upon Thames HEREBY GIVES NOTICE that to facilitate electrical works, they intend to make a temporary Traffic Order, the effect of which will be to introduce a temporary prohibition of traffic in River Lane, Petersham.

2. Whilst the works take place no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed, wait or stand in River Lane, Petersham from a point outside the Navigators House for a distance of 30 metres southwards to a point outside The Manor House.

3. The order will come into effect on 19 May 2026. These works are anticipated to be in progress at all times from 19 May 2026 to 21 May 2026. The order will remain in force for a period of 18 months, to allow for unexpected events and possible remedial works.

4. The prohibitions apply only during such time and to such extent as indicated by prescribed traffic signs.

5. Nothing in the Order applies to:

(a) any vehicle being used in connection with the execution of the said works or any public service or utility vehicle;

(b) anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police officer in uniform or a civil enforcement officer.

(c) any vehicle being used for Police, fire brigade or ambulance purposes.

1. The Council of the London Borough of Richmond upon Thames HEREBY GIVES NOTICE that to facilitate gas main replacement works they intend to make a temporary Traffic Order, the effect of which will be to introduce a temporary prohibition of traffic in various streets.

2. Whilst the works take place no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to wait or stand in the roads detailed in the schedule, between the dates indicated. The parking restrictions and road closures will operate on a rolling basis.

3. The order will come into effect on 18 May 2026. The restrictions will be in force at all times from 18 May 2026 until 26 June 2026. The order will remain in force for a period of 18 months, to allow for unexpected events and possible remedial works.

4. The prohibitions apply only during such time and to such extent as indicated by prescribed traffic signs.

5. Nothing in the Order applies to:

(a) any vehicle being used in connection with the execution of the said works or any public service or utility vehicle;

(b) anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police officer in uniform or a civil enforcement officer; or

1. The Council of the London Borough of Richmond upon Thames HEREBY GIVES NOTICE that to facilitate remedial works, they intend to make a temporary Traffic Order, the effect of which will be to introduce a temporary prohibition of traffic in Suffolk Road, Barnes.

2. Whilst the works take place no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed, wait or stand in Suffolk Road, Barnes outside numbers 38–40.

3. Whilst the works take place, an alternative route for diverted traffic will be available via Suffolk Road, Lower Road, Cumberland Road, Berkeley Road Avenue and Vice versa.

4. The order will come into effect on 20 May 2026. These works are anticipated to be in progress on 20 May 2026 only. The order will remain in force for a period of 18 months, to allow for unexpected events and possible remedial works.
