GORCHYMYN CEFNFFYRDD YR A483 A’R A458 (Y TRALLWNG, POWYS) (DILEU CYFYNGIADAU) 2026

MAE GWEINIDOGION CYMRU wedi gwneud Gorchymyn drwy arfer eu pwerau o dan adrannau 82(2) a 83(1) o Ddeddf Rheoleiddio Traffig Ffyrdd 1984, sy’n dod i rym ar 11 Mai 2026.

Effaith y Gorchymyn yw dileu cyfyngiadau ar mwyn arfer y terfyn cyflymder cenedlaethol ar y darnau o gefnffyrdd yr A483 a’r A458 a bennir yn yr Atodlen i’r Hysbysiad hwn.

Yn ystod cyfnod o 6 wythnos o 8 Mai 2026 ymlaen, gellir edrych ar gopi o’r Gorchymyn a’r plan yn rhad ac am ddim, yn ystod oriau agor arferol yn Llyfrgell y Trallwng, Y Lanfa, The Canal Wharf, Y Trallwng, Powys SY21 7AQ. Y darn o gefnffordd yr A458 sy’n ymestyn i’r gogledd am bellter o 199 o fetrau o ymyI deheuol yr ynys holti ar ochr ogleddol Cylchfan Sarn-y-bryn-caled, y Trallwng.

Y darn o gefnffordd yr A483 sy’n ymestyn o bwynt 93 o fetrau i’r de o ymyI gogledd-orllewinol yr ynys holti ar ochr ddeheuol Cylchfan Buttington Cross, i’r gogledd o’r Trallwng hyd at bwynt 86 o fetrau i’r gogledd o ymyI deheuol yr ynys holti ar ochr ogleddol y cylchfan honno.

Y darn o gefnffordd yr A458 sy’n ymestyn o ymyI dwyreiniol yr ynys holti ar ochr ogleddol-ddwyreiniol Cylchfan Buttington Cross, i’r gogledd o’r Trallwng am bellter o 40 metr.

THE A483 & A458 TRUNK ROADS (WELSHPOOL, POWYS) (DERESTRICTION) ORDER 2026

THE WELSH MINISTERS have made an Order in exercise of their powers under sections 82(2) and 83(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, which comes into force on 11 May 2026.

The effect of the Order is to derestrict to the national speed limit the lengths of the A483 and A458 trunk roads specified in the Schedule to this Notice.

During a period of 6 weeks from 8 May 2026, a copy of the Order and plan may be inspected, free of charge, during normal opening hours at Welshpool Library, Y Lanfa/The Wharf, The Canal Wharf, Welshpool, Powys SY21 7AQ. The documents can also be viewed on the Welsh Government’s website at https://gov.wales/road-orders.

SCHEDULE

The length of the A483 trunk road that extends from a point 168 metres south-west of the north-eastern edge of the splitter island on the south-western side of Sarn-y-bryn-caled Roundabout, Welshpool to a point 166 metres north-east of the south-western edge of the splitter island on the north-eastern side of that roundabout.

The circulatory carriageway of the A483/A458 Sarn-y-bryn-caled Roundabout, Welshpool.

The length of the A458 trunk road that extends north for a distance of 199 metres from the southern edge of the splitter island on the northern side of Sarn-y-bryn-caled Roundabout, Welshpool.

The length of the A483 trunk road that extends from a point 93 metres south of the northern edge of the splitter island on the southern side of Buttington Cross Roundabout, north of Welshpool to a point 86 metres north of the southern edge of the splitter island on the northern side of that roundabout.

The length of the A458 trunk road that extends from the eastern edge of the splitter island on the north-eastern side of Buttington Cross Roundabout, north of Welshpool for a distance of 40 metres.
