Brighton & Hove - Multiple Traffic Notices, Off-Street Parking Places Amendment for Car Park Tariff and Season Ticket Changes

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984
NOTICE is hereby given that Brighton & Hove City Council (“the Council”) has on 6 May 2026 made the Order named below under the relevant sections of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended which when it comes into operation on 18 May 2026 will introduce the following:
BRIGHTON & HOVE (OFF-STREET PARKING PLACES) CONSOLIDATION ORDER 2019 (AMENDMENT NO.1 2026 (TRO-9-2026))
• Introduce new seasonal tariffs (winter/summer) Black Rock, King Alfred, Marine Cliffs (Rottingdean) and West Street (Rottingdean), Regency Square car parks.
• Amend special rates and/or introduce new tariff times in Black Rock, King Alfred, Marine Cliffs (Rottingdean), The Lanes, London Road, Regency Square and Trafalgar Street car parks.
• Introduce new season tickets in King Alfred, Norton Road, The Lanes, London Road and Regency Square.
• Update charges as approved by Budget Council on 26 February 2026
A copy of this Notice, the Order as made and a statement of the Council’s reasons for making the Order may be seen online at www.brighton-hove.gov.uk/current-tros.
Any person who wishes to question the validity of the Order or of any of its provisions on the grounds that it or they are not within the powers conferred by the Act, or that any requirements of the Act or of any instrument made under it have not been complied with may, within six weeks from the date on which the Order was made, apply to the High Court for that purpose.
