LONDON BOROUGH OF CROYDON COUNCIL

Road Traffic Regulation Act, 1984, Section 14 As Amended, The Road Traffic (Temporary Restrictions) Act 1991 And All Other Enabling Powers Colliers Water Lane, Brigstock Road & Penshurst Road, Thornton Heath

TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC & PARKING
1. Croydon Council HEREBY GIVE NOTICE that to facilitate footway works, they intend to make an Order the effect of which would be to temporarily prohibit traffic movements and parking in Colliers Water Lane, Brigstock Road and Penshurst Road.

2. During the work:
a) Colliers Water Lane will be closed at its junction with Brigstock Road.
b) Penshurst Road will be closed at its junction with Brigstock Road.
c) The southern footway of Brigstock Road will be closed outside Nos. 99 to 109 Brigstock Road.
d) The free parking bay outside Nos. 222 to 216 Brigstock Road will be suspended.

3. Whilst the closure remains in force the alternative routes for diverted vehicles will be as detailed below. Pedestrians will be directed to the opposite footway.
• Via Beverstone Road, Malvern Road, and A23 London Road.
• Via Haslemere Road, Bensham Lane, and vice versa.
• Via Brigstock Rd, London Road, A23 London Road, Thornton Road, Roundabout, and A23 London Road.
• Via Brigstock Road, Melfort Road, Strathryre Avenue, and A23 London Road.

4. The Order will come into operation on 25 May 2026, and it is anticipated that the work will be completed on 29 May 2026. However, the Order will remain in force for 18 months to be reintroduced should further work be required. The prohibitions will only apply during such times and to such extent as shall from time to time be indicated by traffic signs.

5. The restrictions shall apply in respect of:
(a) any vehicle involved in conducting the said work.
(b) a vehicle being used for fire brigade, ambulance, or police purposes, or the purposes of a statutory undertaker in an emergency, such as the loss of supplies of gas, electricity or water to premises in the area, which necessitates the bringing of vehicles into a section of road to which the order applies.
(c) anything done with the permission of a police constable in uniform or a Civil Enforcement Officer.

TEMPORARY RESTRICTION OF VEHICULAR TRAFFIC
1. Croydon Council HEREBY GIVES NOTICE that to facilitate gas, electric and water service connections by SGN, UKPN and Thames Water, they intend to make an Order the effect of which would be to temporarily restrict traffic in Coombe Road, Croydon.

2. Whilst the said works are taking place, Coombe Road will be closed at its junction with Edridge Road.

3. During the closure, the alternative route for traffic will be as detailed below and appropriately signed.
• Via Coombe Road, Lower Coombe Street, Pump Pail North, The Croydon Flyover, and Park Lane A212.

4. The Order will come into operation on 26 May 2026, and it is anticipated that the works will be completed on 31 May 2026. However, the Order will remain in force for 18 months to be reintroduced should further work be required.

5. The restriction will not apply in respect of:
(a) any vehicle involved in carrying out the said work.
(b) a vehicle being used for fire brigade, ambulance, or police purposes, or the purposes of a statutory undertaker in an emergency, such as the loss of supplies of gas, electricity or water to premises in the area, which necessitates the bringing of vehicles into a section of road to which the order applies.
(c) anything done with the permission of a police constable in uniform or a Civil Enforcement Officer.

TEMPORARY RESTRICTION OF VEHICULAR TRAFFIC
1. Croydon Council HEREBY GIVES NOTICE that to facilitate gas main replacement works by SGN, they intend to make an Order the effect of which would be to temporarily restrict traffic in Cullenden Road, Kenley.

2. Whilst the said works are taking place, the entire length of Cullenden Road will be closed in sections from 25 May to 03 July 2026.

3. During the closure, the alternative route for traffic will be as detailed below and appropriately signed.
• Via Firs Road, Park Road, Hayes Lane, Godstone Road, Foxley Hill Road, Higher Drive vice versa.

4. The Order will come into operation on 25 May 2026, and it is anticipated that the works will be completed 03 July 2026, as indicated above. However, the Order will remain in force for 18 months to be reintroduced should further work be required.

5. The restriction will not apply in respect of:
(a) any vehicle involved in carrying out the said work.
(b) a vehicle being used for fire brigade, ambulance, or police purposes, or the purposes of a statutory undertaker in an emergency, such as the loss of supplies of gas, electricity or water to premises in the area, which necessitates the bringing of vehicles into a section of road to which the order applies.
(c) anything done with the permission of a police constable in uniform or a Civil Enforcement Officer.

TEMPORARY RESTRICTION OF VEHICULAR TRAFFIC
1. Croydon Council HEREBY GIVES NOTICE that to facilitate gas service alteration works by SGN, they intend to make an Order the effect of which would be to temporarily restrict traffic in Hermitage Road, Kenley.

2. Whilst the said works are taking place, Hermitage Road will be closed outside No. 17a Hermitage Road.

3. During the closure traffic will be diverted via the alternative routes below.
• Via Central Hill, Harold Road, Beulah Hill and vice versa.
• Via Crown Dale, Beulah Hill and vice versa.

4. The Order will come into operation on 26 May 2026, and it is anticipated that the work will be completed on 29 May 2026. However, the Order will remain in force for 18 months to be reintroduced should further work be required.

5. The restriction shall not apply in respect of:
(a) A vehicle involved in the said work.

LONDON BOROUGH OF CROYDON COUNCIL
Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, Section 14, As Amended Temporary Prohibition Of Traffic Various Roads Throughout Croydon
1. Croydon Council, HEREBY GIVE NOTICE that to facilitate essential highway maintenance works that may take place within the London Borough of Croydon over the next 18 months, they intend to make an Order the effect of which would be to allow the following measures to be introduced, providing that the relevant permissions have been granted by the Council, in any street listed in the Schedule to this Notice for which Croydon Council is the highway authority:
(a) the closure of any street or length of street specified in the Schedule to this notice until the completion of the work allows.
(b) the temporary introduction of one-way traffic for the duration of the works in those streets or lengths of streets, or the requirement to proceed only in a direction indicated by a traffic sign.
(c) the temporary closure of any adjoining streets to vehicular traffic where this is considered necessary to facilitate the work in progress.
(e) the temporary introduction of banned turns, footway closures or waiting and loading restrictions at any time should this be required and;
(f) the temporary suspension of bus lanes/stops, cycle lanes, parking bays or any other traffic restriction as required where this is considered necessary to facilitate the work in progress.

2. Whilst the provisions of the Order remain in force, waiting or loading by vehicles would be prohibited at any time on those streets or lengths of streets specified where work is in progress. Any vehicle waiting in contravention of any restriction on waiting imposed by this Order may be removed under the provisions of the Removal and Disposal of Vehicles Regulations 1986.

3. All road closures will also be advertised complete with any diversion route on our website at the address below. Planned closures and diversion routes are also shown in the Schedule to this Notice.

4. Frontages affected by the above restrictions will receive notification letters approximately two weeks before any works commence.

5. The Order will come into operation on 25 May 2026 and will remain in force for a maximum of 18 months. Note: The provisions of the Order will only apply during such times and to such extent as shall from time to time be indicated by traffic signs prescribed by the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016. (Access for frontages would be maintained whilst the work proceeds).
