What is happening?
(SURFACE DRESSING – VARIOUS ROADS, DUMFRIES & GALLOWAY) (TEMPORARY CLOSURE) ORDER 2026
The Council hereby give notice under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 of their intention to temporarily close the following roads at the following locations:

The closures are necessary in the interests of road safety to facilitate carriageway surface dressing works. The closures are planned to be undertaken during the period of 11th May 2026 to 30th September 2026 and shall have effect only at such times as indicated by appropriate signs. Emergency Vehicle access will be maintained at all times. Vehicle and pedestrian access to properties within the closed section will be maintained where practicable.
