ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 – SECTION 14
TEMPORARY RESTRICTION – OSIERS ROAD SW18

  1. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the London Borough of Wandsworth proposes to make an order to restrict vehicular movement in Osiers Road to facilitate Mobile Plant operation to carry out a Fire Risk assessment.
  2. Whilst the said works are taking place on Osiers Road temporary waiting restrictions will be introduced outside number 5 (5 car spaces). There will be no waiting 08:00 -17:00.
  3. Whilst the order remains in force the alternative route for traffic affected by the closure will be appropriately signed.
  4. Further information may be obtained from the Council’s Network Management section – telephone number (020) 8871 6904.
  5. The order will come into operation on 18 May 2026 and will remain in place until the works are complete. The order will remain in place for no longer than 18 months, although the works are expected to be complete by 22 May 2026.

TEMPORARY CLOSURE – PRETORIA ROAD SW16

  1. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the London Borough of Wandsworth proposes to make an order to restrict vehicular movement in Pretoria Road to facilitate UK Power Networks utility works.
  2. Whilst the said works are taking place on Pretoria Road temporary waiting restrictions will be introduced from the junction of Moyser Road to outside 66 Pretoria Road. There will be no waiting 08:00 - 18:00.
  3. Whilst the order remains in force the alternative route for traffic affected by the closure will be appropriately signed.
  4. Further information may be obtained from the Council’s Network Management section – telephone number (020) 8871 6904.
  5. The order will come into operation on 18 May 2026 and will remain in place until the works are complete. The order will remain in place for no longer than 18 months, although the works are expected to be complete by 21 May 2026.

TEMPORARY CLOSURE – LAVENDER HILL SW11

  1. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the London Borough of Wandsworth has made an order to restrict vehicular movement in Lavender Hill to facilitate UK Power Networks utility works.
  2. Whilst the said works are taking place, no vehicle shall enter, exit, proceed or wait along Town Hall Road at the junction with Lavender Hill. The westbound bus lane along with both the eastbound and westbound cycle lanes will be suspended on Lavender Hill to allow for a contra flow system from the junction of Longbeach Road to the junction with Mysore Road. There will be no waiting at any time.
  3. Whilst the order remains in force the alternative route for traffic affected by the closure will be appropriately signed.

  5. The order will come into operation on 11 May 2026 and will remain in place until the works are complete. The order will remain in place for no longer than 18 months, although the works are expected to be complete by 25 May 2026.

TEMPORARY CLOSURE – LONGMEAD ROAD SW17

  1. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the London Borough of Wandsworth has made an order to restrict vehicular movement in Longmead Road to facilitate Thames Water Mains Replacement works.
  2. Whilst the said works are taking place, no vehicle shall enter, proceed or wait along Longmead Road from the bus turning point to the junction with Mitcham Road. There will be no waiting at any time.
  3. Whilst the order remains in force the alternative route for traffic affected by the closure will be appropriately signed.
  4. Further information may be obtained from the Council’s Network Management section – telephone number (020) 8871 6904.
  5. The order will come into operation on 11 May 2026 and will remain in place until the works are complete. The order will remain in place for no longer than 18 months, although the works are expected to be complete by 31 May 2026.

VARIOUS ROADS IN THE BOROUGH

PROPOSED WAITING RESTRICTIONS – UPGRADING OF SINGLE YELLOW LINES TO DOUBLE YELLOW LINES AND INTRODUCTION OF DOUBLE YELLOW LINES

1. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the London Borough of Wandsworth propose to make the following Order under section 6 of and Part IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended by the Local Government Act 1985 and the Traffic Management Act 2004.

The Wandsworth (Waiting and Loading Restriction) (Special Parking Areas) (Amendment No. ) Order 202;

2. The general effect of the Order will be to upgrade the existing single yellow lines to double yellow lines at the following road junctions, and where a road is unrestricted, introduce lengths of double yellow lines. The purpose of the restrictions is to remove parking at junctions to improve safety and sight lines. The length of restrictions is generally restricted to no more than 10 metres.

Yukon Road: Balham Hill to Cavendish Road - Yukon Road, Lynn Road, Beira Street and Cavendish Road;
Shipka Road: Bedford Hill to Rossiter Road - Shipka Road, Rossiter Road and Sistova Road;
Viewfield Road: West Hill Road to Granville Road - West Hill Road, Gressenhall Road, Viewfield Road, Melrose Road, Seymour Road and Granville Road;
Morris Gardens – Junction with West Hill Road - West Hill Road and Morris Gardens;
Nimrod Road: Southcroft Road to Welham Road - Nimrod Road, Southcroft Road and Welham Road;
Ribblesdale Road: Thrale Road to Moyser Road - Ribblesdale Road, Thrale Road and Moyser Road;
Stormont Road: Lavender Hill to Clapham Common North - Stormont Road, Lavender Hill, Gowrie Road, Marney Road and Nansen Road;
Severus Road: St John’s Hill to Eckstein Road - Severus Road and Eckstein Road;

Access to Gravenel Gardens: Sellincourt Road to Nutwell Street - Sellincourt Road and Access to Gravenel Gardens;
Crealock Street: Allfarthing Lane to Aslett Street - Allfarthing Lane, Crealock Street, Delia Street, Treport Street and Aslett Street;
St Simon’s Avenue: Chartwell Avenue to Hazelwell Road - Chartfield Avenue, St Simon’s Avenue and Hazelwell Road;
Combermartin Road: Junction with Sutherland Grove - Combermartin Road and Sutherland Grove.

3. Copies of documents giving more detailed particulars of the proposed Order are available for inspection during normal office hours on Mondays to Fridays in The Customer Centre, The Town Hall, Wandsworth High Street, London, SW18 2PU. The documents will remain available until the end of six weeks from the date on which the Order are made or, as the case may be, the Council decides not to make the Order.

4. Any person wishing to make a comment about the proposals should send a statement in writing to the Executive Director of Resident Services at the address below within 21 days of the date of this Notice.
