Roger Mann, Head of Law (Planning & Regulatory), City Law & Governance, Legal Services, Cunard Building, Water Street, Liverpool, L3 1AH. Dated 7 May 2026. (Cruise Liner Terminal) (Princes Parade & St. Nicholas Place) (Temporary Prohibition of Driving) Order, 2026.
Notice is hereby given that the Council has made the above-mentioned Order under Section 14 of The Road Traffic Regulation Act, 1984, to prohibit any vehicle from proceeding in: - (i) Princes Parade, from its junction with St. Nicholas Place in a northerly direction to its junction with the unnamed service road to the north of the cruise-liner terminal; & (ii) St Nicholas Place, from its junction with Princes Parade in an easterly direction to its junction with the unnamed service road to the east of the cruise liner terminal. The roads will be temporarily closed (either in part or in full as required) for a period of time as determined necessary prior to, during, and after the visit of a cruise liner. This Order will become operative, as and when deemed necessary, to facilitate the visit of any cruise liner during the period of the 8 May 2026 until the 7 November 2027.
The alternative route for motorists will be via the unnamed service road to the north and east of the cruise liner terminal.
