Proposed Order: To close that part of U47644 Whittington Road Service Road, Whittington from its junction with B4084 Pershore Rd for its entire length.

Reason: Footway resurfacing by WCC.

Alternative route: B4084 Pershore Rd (part) and vice versa.

Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 8 days between 1 June and 10 June 2026.

(U54112 Grenville Road, Worcester) (Temporary Closure) Order 2026

Proposed Order: To close that part of U54112 Grenville Rd from its junction with U54113 Essex Cl to its junction with U54108 Gresham Rd.

Reason: New vehicle crossing (dropped kerb) by WCC.

Alternative route: U54113 Essex Cl, U54112 Grenville Rd (part) and vice versa.

Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 1 day between 2 June 2026 and 5 June 2026.

(Link Footpath F50433 leading from Warndon Hill access road to Scafell Close, Worcester) (Temporary Closure) Order 2026

Proposed Order: To close that part of Link Footpath F50433 leading from Warndon Hill access road to Scafell Cl from its junction with U51231 Warndon Hill Rd to its junction with U51230 Scafell Cl.

Reason: Replacement electricity cable by Western Power.

Alternative route: U51231 Warndon Hill Rd, B4637 Tolladine Rd, U51229 Ambleside Dr, U51230 Scafell Cl and vice versa.

Maximum duration: 6 Months. Anticipated duration: 17 days (24hrs). Commencing: 3 June 2026.

Proposed Order: To close that part of:

1. U50017 Thorneloe Road from its junction with U50018 Sabrina Terrace to its junction with U50017 Thorneloe Walk.

2. U50017 Thorneloe Walk from its junction with U50017 Thorneloe Rd to its junction with A38 Barbourne Rd.

Reason: Dig out sunken existing tarmac surrounding patch & re tarmac by STW.

No northbound access for emergency services diversion route must be followed.

Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 3 days. Commencing: 11 May 2026.

EXEMPTIONS: TO PERMIT ACCESS TO ANY LAND OR PREMISES FRONTING THE HIGHWAY AFFECTED WHERE THERE IS NO OTHER FORM OF ACCESS; AND TO ALLOW THE WORKS TO BE UNDERTAKEN.

(Footpath NB-521, Naunton Beauchamp)

(Temporary Closure Order) 2026

Order made: To close Footpath NB-521, Naunton Beauchamp from its junction with Footpaths NB-517 & NB-516 (grid ref. 395993, 252007) to its junction with Seaford Lane (grid ref. 396354, 252200).

The Order has been made due to a collapsed ditch crossing.

Exemptions: To permit access to any land or premises having a frontage to the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the necessary works to be undertaken.

Alternative route: is along Footpaths NB-516, NB-513, C2225 Naunton Beauchamp, U47408 Seaford Lane, and vice versa.

The proposed Order will continue in force for a period not exceeding 6 months or until the works which it is proposed to be carried out have been completed, whichever is the earlier. However, it is anticipated that the Order will only be operative for 6 months commencing on 31 March 2026.
